must also fill out the 1040-NR or the 1040 NR-EZ form.

If the answer is YES, then you need to see a TAX

ADVISOR

YOU CANNOT USE THE 1098T to get $1000 back from the IRS!! That is only

for people who can file taxes as RESIDENTS!

Because you MUST SUBTRACT

Treaty Amount from TOTAL before

doing rest of 1040NR-EZ form.

Please look at handout. If your country is not listed it does NOT have a tax treaty that you can use for tax purposes. If you DO see

your country you will be able to subtract that amount from any money you made as income.

Please make not of amount and Treaty Article number.

forms (1098T) you may have

received in the mail unless you

have been in US for more than

five years and you are filing as a
