The Fastest Way to PlayFast Play® is coming to your Illinois Lottery terminal in late September 2020. Fast Play games are quick and easy draw games that are available for purchase through the Photon terminal or Win30. There are no numbers to pick, no play slips to complete, no scratching, and no drawing that requires waiting.

These four new games feature fixed (i.e., predetermined top prizes) and progressive (i.e., rolling jackpots) prizes. In a progressive Fast Play game, the jackpot begins at a set minimum and grows with each ticket sold State-wide, until someone wins. After the jackpot is won, it immediately resets to the minimum jackpot amount.

Why should you promote and sell Fast Play?Fast Play is a new way to earn additional money at your store.• A new set of games gives you the potential to earn more commission.

• 86% of Fast Play players buy other types of lottery games along with Fast Play, most often large jackpotdraw-based games and instant tickets.

Earn More with the Fast Play Sales Incentive

What is the incentive?• Grow Fast Play sales to more than 3% of your sales of State draw-

based games (i.e., Lotto; Lucky Day Lotto®; Pick 3; and Pick 4) and earn a 10% bonus on incremental Fast Play sales.

• When you sign up for the Fast Play sales incentive, you’ll also be automatically entered into a drawing to win a $500 prepaid gift card.

How does it work?• It’s all about growing Fast Play sales to over 3% of your sales of State draw-based

games.

• For Fast Play sales up to 3% of your sales of State draw-based games, you will earn commission at the normal rate of 5%.

• Any Fast Play sales in excess of 3% of your sales of State draw-based games will earn a 5% commission plus a 10% bonus.

How long is the retail incentive?• 8 weeks. The incentive program starts October 6, 2020, and ends on November 30, 2020.

How and when will I get paid?• The 10% bonus will be calculated at the end of the 8 week period and be paid in a

lump sum.

Do I have to sign up to receive the bonus?• Yes, in order for the bonus to be paid and sent at the end of the incentive

program, we will need your retailer ID and valid email address. Please note: corporate retailers are not required to sign up to receive the bonus.

How will I know if I am on track to receive a bonus?• At the start of the program, you will receive information on the store’s weekly sales

Quick Reference GuideFast Play® offers a new and exciting way to play from the Illinois Lottery! The games arequick and easy draw games that are available for purchase through the Photon terminal or a Win30. There are no numbers to pick, no play slips to complete, no scratching, and no waiting. The prize pool is immediately replenished after a game is won, so players can win any game at any time, from any Illinois Lottery retailer.

How to Play Fast PlayPlayers simply purchase their Fast Play game of choice and follow the How to Win instructions on the game ticket.

• Players can choose from the selection of Fast Play games available on the Photon terminal and Win30.

» There are fixed and progressive jackpot games.

» Each game has an individual prize structure, and a top prize or progressive top prize.

» Fast Play games do not require players to select numbers or fill out a play slip.

• Fast Play tickets will print with only one game per ticket.

• Players may check their tickets to see if they’ve won by visiting any Illinois Lottery retailer or by following the HOW TO WIN instructions on the ticket.

• Winning tickets must be claimed within one year from the date of purchase.

How to Sell Fast Play from the PhotonPlease note: Tickets must only be printed from the terminal at the time of purchase. Sales of pre-printed tickets are strictly prohibited.

Step 1 : From the game screen, press the Fast Play button.

Step 2 : Select the icon for the Fast Play game to sell.

Step 3 : Select the applicable number of tickets, which is located at the bottom of the screen. The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased in a single transaction is 20.

PLEASE NOTE: FAST PLAY GAMES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADVANCED PLAY.

IMPORTANT: TICKETS CANNOT BE CANCELLED, REFUNDED, OR RETURNED FOR ANY REASON.

Step 5 : Press the BUY ALL button to finalize the transaction. The terminal will print the ticket(s).

Step 6 : Hand ticket(s) directly from the printer to player. Do not tell the player if the ticket is a winner. Let the player check their ticket to see if they have won. Please do not give hints.

Step 4 : IMPORTANT! Ask for payment from the customer prior to completing the transaction & press the send button.

Step 1 : Press the Fast Play icon on the Win30 terminal touchscreen.

Step 1 : Open the Illinois Lottery app and tap the “Scanner” icon at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2 : On the Photon, if the ticket prize is $600 or under, the retailer will have the option to redeem the ticket and credit the player’s balance. On the Genion, “Congrats! You won $XXX! Please take your ticket to the clerk” message appears on the screen.

If the prize is $600.01 or over, a “Congrats! You won $XXX! Sign your ticket & claim at Lottery” appears on the screen.

Depending on the Fast Play game played, 81-99% of all prizes can be claimed at retail. Any prize over $600 must be claimed by mail or at an Illinois Lottery Claim Center. Please tell players to visit illinoislottery.com for a claim form and winner questionnaire. As a reminder, any prize can be claimed by sending a completed claim form, winner questionnaire, and the signed Fast Play ticket to Illinois Lottery, P.O. Box 19080, Springfield, IL 62794-9080.

Step 2 : If the ticket prize is $600 or under, players can reinvest funds up to $25 to the Vending Terminal Balance. Players can also cash their ticket(s) with the retailer.

If the prize is $600.01 or over, a “Congrats! You won $XXX! Sign your ticket & claim at Lottery” appears on the screen.

Step 2 : Place the barcode, located at the bottom of the Fast Play ticket, in the indicated area by using the camera on your smartphone.

Step 2 : Select the Fast Play game you want to play. Each game available for purchase will be displayed with an icon on the touchscreen.

Step 3 : Insert money into the Win30. The Win30 does not give change.

Select the number of tickets you would like to purchase.

Step 4 : Press the send button. The Win30 will print and dispense your ticket(s).
