As part of Ontario's Red Tape Challenge, they are inviting businesses, industry associations and the public to tell us how they can improve regulations to better support business. Their goal is to reduce the burden on business while protecting consumers, workers and the environment.

To build on the program's success to date, they've launched the tourism round of consultations, which runs from February 1 to March 31, 2018. The Red Tape Challenge builds on our government's ongoing efforts to ensure that the tourism industry in Ontario continues to thrive and grow. Ontario is also working with government and industry partners to implement the Strategic Framework for Tourism in Ontario, which aims to maximize the growth of Ontario's tourism sector and position the province as a preferred global tourism destination.

Through this digital consultation platform, they would like to hear your feedback on any further regulation(s) that you feel could be improved. You can also comment on other users' feedback and are able to submit your comments anonymously if you wish. The government will review the feedback received

and issue a final report on the steps they will take to address identified opportunities by October 31, 2018.
