As part of Sineria core business we are constantly developing new crop protection solutions using IPM and

incorporating biological, soft and conventional pesticides.

Our team in the Netherlands works with growers to achieve vegetable and fruit production with no, or lowest

possible, pesticide residue levels using IPM programs and biological controls as well as seeking the protection of

the environment with low water and fertilizer consumption.

Our proprietary technology enables us to isolate and screen naturally occurring micro-organisms and plant

extracts in a highly efficient manner and to identify those that may have novel, effective and safe pest

management or plant health promoting characteristics.

Discovery of new and effective biological substances is just the start of a long process of identifying the right active

ingredient we wish to introduce.

The latest addition to our research and development efforts is our agricultural biological platform - featuring

Prevail and Metafur.

Leveraging our plant extraction expertise, both Metafur and Prevail-P technology uses molecules found in nature

to be used in crop protection programs.

Metafur 800EC is a novel, natural, broad spectrum nematicide for use on a wide range of crops.

Metafur 800EC contains natural extracts and other metabolites, driven from bagasse; the waste fibre of sugar

production.

Metafur manifests a multiple mode of action against the targeted plant pathogenic nematodes. Following

application, Metafur is toxic by contact to almost all free living nematodes.

Keeping pace with the vision of a sustainable tomorrow, Sineria has developed Prevail-P an extract-based bio

pesticide formulation-that has proven its effectiveness against cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera) as well as

pest complexes like Spodoptera, DBM, Cabbage looper, Silver leaf whitefly, Melon aphid, Western flower thrips,

and Cabbage aphid.

The usage of our new product Prevail P have seen success in producing residue-free crops on a sustainable basis,

thereby meeting the strictest requirements of European retailers. Options for the future inclusion in IPM

programs.

Metafur 800EC™ is a powerful contact and “semi-systemic” nematicide against a widerange of plan parasitic Nematodes.

Metafur 800EC™ is an organic product, a natural derivative of sugarcane, completelybiodegradable, ensuring that no harmful residue are left on the plant or in the soilfollowing application.

Metafur 800EC™ kills harmful nematodes by contact and systematic action. Therefore itis effective also against free living nematodes. Metafur 800EC™ can be appliedthroughtout the growing season and multiple applications are possible.Metafur 800EC™ is of relatively low toxicity when compared to similar commercialproducts.

In 2013, Metafur 800EC™ was extensively tested in Spain against plant parasiticNematodes in greenhouse tomatoes. The results of the trials were impressive.

Prevail-P is a contact bio-insecticide based on natural d-Limonene fromCitrus extract.

Prevail-P effectively controls a versatile number of insect pests andSpidermites, like Aphids, Whiteflies, Leafhoppers, Thrips, Psyllids,Lepidoptera pests and Cabbage looper on vegetables and ornamentals.Prevail-P acts as a contact and stomach bio-insecticide, with additionalanti-feeding and repelling activity due to the essential oils it contains.

Prevail-P has a quick knock-down effect, is IPM compatible and benignon beneficial insects and organisms. The Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) is 0.

Conclusion – Comments:

The statistical analysis of the efficacydata indicated that Prevail-P effectivelymanaged to control the Green PeachAphid (Myzus persicae).

Trial 1: The Netherlands

Prevail-P was tested for the control of Green peach Aphid (Myzus

persicae) reared on Radish. The trial was conducted in pots, in a heated

greenhouse. Each plot contained 10 pots and each pot contained 2-4

aphid-infested radish plants.

Phytotoxicity Evaluation - the summary

Prevail-P was tested against Thrips, Aphids and Whiteflies on both Tomatoes and Roses, with excellent results.

At a rate of 400 ml per 100lt water and 2 consecutiveweekly applications, Prevail-P managed to almosteliminate Aphid infestation with an efficacy rate up to98% in Tomatoes and 93% in Roses, exhibited >90%efficacy against whiteflies (adults and nymphs combined)in both crops while for Thrips the results showed anextraordinary for biological based products 80% efficacy.

Sineria’s R&D team are working on introducing high quality products andexpand Sineria’s dynamic portfolio.In 2017, we are introducing to the markets the exciting product –Alvarion - A Boscalid based series of products:

- Alvarion 25SC: Boscalid 250 gr/lt- Alvarion 50WDG: Boscalid 500 gr/kg- Alvarion Combi: Boscalid + Pyraclostrobin 30% SC

Boscalid is a systemic and contact fungicide, with excellent efficacyagainst Powdery Mildew, Rust, Anthracnose, Cercospora, Purple Blotch,Early Blight and Botrytis on a wide range of crops, including vegetablesand ornamentals.According to FRAC, Boscalid is an SDHI (Succinate dehydrogenaseinhibitors) fungicide; FRAC Group C - Respiration; Code 7.

Boscalid is IPM Compatible and has a very low toxicological profile.According to WHO (World Health Organisation), Boscalid is Classified as U– Unlikely to present acute hazard in normal use.

The toxicological profile of Pyraclostrobin is as favoubable as Boscalid’s,making Alvarion Combi a very safe, but nevertheless extremely effective,fungicide to control versatile diseases on a wide range of crops.

Extensive field trials and commercial applications have proven the efficacy ofAlvarion 50WDG against a wide range of diseases.

In Belgium (2015) Alvarion 50WDG was tested for the control of Purple Blotch(Alternaria porri) in Onions and Graymold (Botrytis spp.) in Tomatoes. Theresults are depicted in the following graph and pictures:

IN PERU

In 2016, Levo was tested in Peru for the control of Red spidermite (Panonychus citri) in Citrus (Lemon) plantations.The trial was performed in Piura, North part of the country.

Peru is a major exporter of Citrus worldwide. Peru exports itscitrus fruits to more than 29 countries, among them UK, theNetherlands, Scandinavian countries, Spain, Russia, Canadaand to the USA market.Safety and traceability are two important attributes ofPeruvian citrus fruits.

The Red spider mite, Panonychus citri, is a major pest ofcitrus. Feeding causes stippling spots that combine to causeyellow or silvery areas on the leaves. Heavy infestations result inleaf drop, twig dieback, low-quality fruit and even treedeath. Red spider mite outbreaks can be very common whenthe broad-spectrum activity of insecticides targeting otherkey pests disrupts the activity of its natural enemies.

Conclusions:

• Treatment 2 (500ml) and 3 (1000ml) show a similar performance, without significant difference,counteracting the damage of the pest, and decreasing the Red Spider mite population at 88%and 89% respectively.

• It can be concluded that the application of Levo meets the expectations to control the redspider mite.

• During the application, the beneficial fauna was not affected. The beneficial fauna remainedintact during the application. Predominant beneficial were in Lacewings and their eggs.

In 2016, after market evaluation and research, Sineria started its operation in Mexico.This new activity in North and Latin America represents an important milestone in thecompany’s latest development expanding its unique range of plant protection andbiological products to additional territories.

Our presence in such a dynamic market as Mexico represents a new challenge and weare sure that 2017 will be a year to be proud about. And the journey continues…

Mr. Ruben Villasante Ricalde has joined our team and will run operations in Mexico.

Ruben has a Master Degree from The Haub School of Business in Philadelphia andworked previously as a Market and Product Manager for FMC in Mexico as well as aMarket Analyst at FMC cooperation in Princeton.

We are very glad to welcome Ruben to our team and we wish him best of luck.

SocialResponsibility

In 2016 Sineria continued its support to the local communities in Africa and in the

Middle East throughout our partnership with “Save a Child’s Heart”. SACH saves

children’s lives by performing hundreds of surgeries annually regardless of race,

nationality or financial status.

Save a Child’s Heart also trains surgeons and other medical team members from

developing countries helping them to build their own centers of competence.

Every day a child from a developing country is saved by SAVE A CHILD’S HEART medical

staff and facilities.

Last year the honorable, Mrs. Margaret Gakuo Kenyatta, first Lady of Kenya attended theannual SACH benefit, in Nairobi Kenya. Sineria was proud to support and finance thegala ball to raise more funds to this important cause.

Sineria also continues its support to the ‘Kenya Children’s Home (KCH)’ with the primarygoal to restore hope and provision of basic needs to orphans and vulnerable children inKenya. Together with KHC our goal is to see that every child in every situation gets thebest care.

We strongly believe that responsible business is good business and we will continue todrive the development and continuous improvement in our social activities in line withour overall strategy.
