FAITH FORMATION
FAITH SHARING: The readings for June 28th, the Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time: 2 Kings 4:8-11,14-16a; Romans 6:3-4,8-11 and Matthew 10:37-42 In today’s Gospel Jesus reminds his apostles that they are sent to others. He encourages them – and us – to recognize and welcome him in one another. The early Christian community took these words of Jesus to heart, becoming known for their many small kindnesses toward others and to the lager world. How are you sent by God to others, to show them Jesus, to be Christ for them? Why do you think God is sending you? REGISTRATIONS: Please complete and return – drop off on Rectory porch, mail to Bonnie or scan and email to Bonnie. See registration form for program fee. Our fall program is in the planning stage and we will notify everyone once decisions are made. SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION: If you have a child entering grade 2 or 9 this fall they are eligible for our sacramental programs. Those entering grade 2 will prepare for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Those entering grade 9 will enter our Chosen4 program which culminates with Confirmation in grade 11. If you need information or a registration packet contact Bonnie Barker at [email protected]. ================================================== Bonnie and Stephanie are looking forward to gathering with you again. If you have any questions, concerns or needs please let us know. We continue to pray for you every day. Please keep us in your prayers as we look forward to fall and what it will look like at St. Michael & St. Peter.
