Join fellow 3rd through 8th grade educators as we explore regional data to drive our assessments, curriculum, and instruction in a conference-style workshop. A focus of the day will be in exploring performance indicators with traditionally low performance. In addition to applying the Standards for Mathematical Practice with BOCES Curriculum Coordinators, you will hear from teachers who have found success meeting mathematics learning standards.

Join 3rd–8th grade colleagues to explore ELA Anchor Standard 2 (central ideas, themes, summaries, and supporting details) which is a consistently low performing area for students in the CA BOCES region. Throughout the day, educators will focus on accessing and analyzing student performance data in order to focus on strategies to improve teaching and learning around Standard 2. Educators will engage in learning opportunities to share instructional strategies, analyze state assessment prompts, build parallel tasks, and engage in collegial conversations.
