The Gazette
Live your life with happy days Live your life with glee. Sweep all your negative thoughts away You will have a happier life, don’t you agree! Spread hope and positivity all around Spread it near and far away. Smile more often and bury the sadness underground Have this mindset and it will all come to play. Live a warm summer sun streaming down on your face. Love will make you feel warm. Anger has no place It is dark like a storm. Live your life with happy days Sweep all negative thoughts away.

The future is a time of change
A time of change for today
And although it may be strange
Happy days will come.
Look to the future with belief
Do something good every day
Work hard and you’ll get relief
Happy days will come.
Put everything in the past
Be good and happiness will stay
Freedom has come at last
Happy days have come!

When lockdown is over, Friends will reunite And we’ll be able to go out to eat. Happy Days lie just out of reach Just one month to go! Happy Days are on the horizon And everything will be just so.

Happy Days by Dylan Fry 9H Summer’s finally come around Flowers are shining from the ground. People are meeting and having fun I’m so happy the Euros have begun. The sun’s coming out from the clouds Places filling up everywhere full of crowds. Things are easing in many ways Let’s all get together in these Happy Days
Are you happy? That can be a hard
question to answer. In life you might
always have doubts and life will be a
rollercoaster of emotions from doubt
to joy. However it is beneficial to stay
hopeful and positive, even when it
gets hard. I am looking forward to
covid restrictions lifting so I can meet
with friends and family without
constantly worrying about distancing
and meeting guidelines. What about
you?

Dear Reader
Hope. Hope is the fresh emerald grass,
Cut so finely a King could mistake it for silk. It’s the warm flames that lick your face
Peppering kisses as you lay alone in a dream world. It is when you blink and witness a future paved with a
thousand forms of joy, Each colour brighter than the last.
Joy.
It’s the smile of a newborn baby, Reaching its first grasp of this shining, beautiful world.
Joy is the eyes of deep, rich love, Making you lost to the point you cannot see that hours have
flown by, And it’s the sweetest symphony praised by the angels,
To fill your soul with the melodious songs from all the ages.
So to my beloved reader, Whose heart is young and loved.
Soar, glide the tides of happiness, And see where time takes you.
Witness the greatest colours, tinges that bring bright defiance,
Burst out in front of your waiting eyes, Pulling a smile on those worn out lips.
And laugh so loud that the angels sing its praises. Laugh loud enough that the world laughs back.
So laugh in your unique dreamscape Because these are the happy days.
