This Advent Message Series will be sure to
show us what the Apostle Paul said in Acts
4:12, when he proclaimed, “Salvation is found
in no one else, for there is no other name under
heaven given to mankind from God by which
we must be saved!” Next week we will look at
why Jesus was named MIGHTY GOD.
See you next week when we will celebrate
Holy Communion together as well.

Welcome to ICCRC
Whether you have been around church your entire life or this is your first peek
into it, Imlay City Christian Reformed Church has something for you. And our
hope is that you will take the next step into this community. Thank you for
coming this weekend and make sure to look at the Guest Information insert in
the welcome packets in the pews, fill out the Communication Card, and drop
it into the offering plate today as it comes by.
Whether it is your first time at ICCRC, or you've been attending for years, you
never know what to expect during our worship experience. From the moment
you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a
creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God's truth. ICCRC is a
community of people led by Jesus Christ to bring hope, strength and change
to the world—one life at a time.
Vision and Purpose Statement
As we grow together in Christ the vision and purpose of ICCRC is simple. We
exist to Celebrate together in worship (Reach Up), to Connect in meaningful
ways as a family (Reach In), and to use our gifts to Contribute to one another
in love (Reach Out). We are committed to be reforming instruments of the
power and love of Jesus Christ, to our congregation, to our community, and to

possibility of having his other leg

ation while working in Japan. Pray
for healing that he may return
home for treatment.
Pray for healing for Frank Cox after
a surgery that went well and he is
now home.
Pray for Audree Murphy, daughter
of Jackie Kinzer, who had
sugery on Wednesday to remove
a growth.
Pray for Jeff Land's mother,
Patricia, who is in the hospital and
decisions need to be made about
hospice care.
Give thanks that Pastor Gary
Klumpenhower made it safely to
Window Rock.
Pray for Stephanie Decker who got
her hand caught in an onion
machine at VanDenBerg's farm
recently.
Pray for Lindsey Sidell as she
recovers from hip surgery and ask
God to give her relief from pain.

Guest Information
Welcome! You are among friends at Imlay City CRC. We are the young and old, the experienced Christians, the brand new Christians, and those who are just curious about Jesus Christ. We are families, singles, students, kids, and couples. Wherever you are coming from, and wherever you are at, you are welcome to come as you are to Imlay City CRC! The service lasts about 75 minutes, then please stay for a cup of coffee or lemonade in the fellowship hall following the service.
Guests are encouraged to fill out the communication card found in your bulletin, and drop it in the offering plate as it comes by. Please take a moment and visit the Welcome Center where you can receive additional information about our church. If you are a regular attendee of Imlay City CRC, we would like to provide you with a mail box. Please submit your request to Michon in the church office 724-4315.
Children’s Bulletins and fun pages are available on clipboards in the lobby.
Nursery care is offered during the morning service near the west entrance for infants and toddlers through age 3. Please honor the age limit. Immediately following worship, please meet your children at the nursery area. Children’s Message during the service, children of all ages are invited to come forward to sit at the front of the church and hear a message designed especially for them.
Children’s Worship all children ages 3 years old through 3rd grade are invited to join Children’s Worship, which takes place during the church service. Wait for Pastor Dave to announce the Children’s Message, after which the children will be dismissed from the sanctuary for Children’s Worship.

Restrooms are located just past the lobby on the right hand side of the hallway.
Wednesday Night Family Night This will take place the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, October – March. Dinner is served from 6:00-6:45 pm and classes are from 6:45-8:00 pm.
Sunday School for grades PreK-12 meets immediately after the worship until 12:15 pm, during the school year (September—May). Please refer to your building map for where the classes meet.

▪ KIDS: Pre-school through 5th grade are invited to sing at the Christmas
Eve Service. Parents please sign up your children to Cheryl Spoelma or
on the bulletin board by Children’s Worship room to see how many are
available to sing Christmas Eve! Practices will be the first few minutes of
Children's Worship class. Thank you!
▪ NEXT COMMUNION: Our next time to celebrate the Lord’s Supper will be
next Sunday, Dec. 13th. Please prepare your hearts, minds, and lives for
communion on that day.
▪ MEN’S BREAKFAST: Imlay City Christian Reformed Church in conjunction
with The Center for Discipleship invites you to be our guest for a great
breakfast prepared by the ladies of ICCRC! This event is set to take place
on Saturday, Jan 23, 2016 @ 8am here at ICCRC!!! IT IS FREE!!! Bring your
Dad, Sons, Brothers, Uncles, Grandpas, Cousins, Friends and Neighbors
too! Stay tuned!!!

SCRIP: Great job everyone! ICCS made $72.85 just from the Thank-SCRIP-ing day!
What a wonderful day this is to really up the amount ICCS can receive. I thank
you so much for your online support of this program. If you remember we made
some great technology upgrades with the money that is generated by those of
you who use SCRIP. And as always you can apply 50% of your earnings to your
tuition (for things you are going to already buy). December orders are DUE
TODAY!!!!! The next and final order of the year will be going in on December
13 so get those plastic card orders in! I encourage you to join the online version
though and get reload and SCRIPNow! products because the shipping has been
raised to $8.50 and ICCS pays your shipping so using e-versions helps the school
even more.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: There are only TWO weeks until the all-school Christmas
Program, “Christmas Hangups”. The program will be held on Friday, December 11
at 7:00 PM, at the Christian Reformed Church. Come on out and see this great
program, the audience ALWAYS has a great time. Good entertainment that is
free and only a short drive, you can’t beat that!
