Hi Friends,
Every holiday season I travel back to Chattanooga, Tennessee, to spend time with friends and family. During those trips I can’t help but reminisce about the early days of Thirty-One. It was 10 years ago this October that our company began in the basement of our Tennessee home. Since that time I’ve been blessed to meet thousands of amazing women through Thirty-One, and those women are the reason we’re reaching new heights every year.
I always tell people our company isn’t about the products — it’s about the people. We’re lucky enough to have more than 100,000 talented, passionate Consultants across the country, and we’re adding more people to our family every week. These women truly are the heart of our business. Still, though, I can’t help but get excited when I think about the products we’re offering this season!
We have a brand new Girl on the Go Collection featuring hands-free purses that my daughter and I love using while we’re shopping. (On page 9 you’ll see my good friend Julie Sutton and her daughter wearing their favorite Girl on the Go purses.) We also refreshed our home organizing collection, which you’ll see in the second half of this Catalog. Take a look at the pantry photos on page 26 & 27 to see how these products can make your life easier — I know every woman wishes she had a pantry that organized!
We really have come a long way since the early days, but I know even better things are in store for our next 10 years, starting with this season. As this Catalog says, “The Best Is Yet To Come!”

wAnteD more time with your kiDs, right? Yes, I was a nurse when I joined in 2007, and I was able to quit that job in 2011 to work from home and spend more time with my family. Now I have the freedom to go on field trips with my kids, volunteer in their class and do anything I want without having to ask a boss for permission.

your fAmily? We renovated our house, refinished our basement and paid off a vehicle. Even more important, we can give more to our church, and we’ve been able to go on mission trips to Haiti to support an orphanage there. God has blessed our family by giving us this opportunity to bless others. It’s all possible because of Him.
DiD you AlwAys envision yourself in A
role like this? No! Growing up, I was one of those kids who absolutely hated speaking in front of others. It was one of my biggest fears, but this is such an easy thing to share, and it really does help people organize their lives in style, both at home and on the go!

What Was your initial goal With
thirty-one? When I signed up I was working full-time as a teacher, and all our extra money went toward diapers and wipes. I just wanted to hold one party a month so I could treat myself to a mani-pedi every so often.
hoW has the additional income affected
your family? It allowed me to quit my teaching job in 2011 so that I could spend more time with my family. Now we’re in the process of building our dream house, and my husband is able to take time off work to build it for us. That’s always been one of his life goals, and now he’s making it come true.
hoW have your goals changed over time? Thirty-One has taught me to dream. It’s given me choice, so that I can truly live in the moment. When it snows, I can run outside and jump in the snow with my two kids. I can balance business, family and even some “me” time. My main goal now is to empower other women, giving them the opportunity to make their own choices so that they can enjoy the same personal fulfillment I’ve found through Thirty-One.

bWhat first dreW you to thirty-one? When I first saw the website I couldn’t stop looking at the stylish bags and totes. I was also attracted to the mission statement and the fact that it’s a faith-based company. God has used this opportunity to bless me, my family and so many others! Thirty-One is about so much more than the amazing products we offer – it’s really all about celebrating, encouraging and rewarding people for who they are.
you initially had a very specific monetary
goal, right? I hoped to earn $300 a month to help pay for my son’s college expenses, and I reached that goal within 90 days! Five years later, we’ve been able to pay off all our debt, buy our son a new vehicle and also purchase a new boat for ourselves!

Q r Why did you join ThirTy-one? As a wife and stay-at-home mother of three, I realized I had lost who I was outside of those roles. I thought Thirty-One might be the perfect opportunity for me to reclaim my identity, get some girl time and add to our income each month, all while working around our family schedule.
hoW has your business affecTed your
family? It’s given our children the privilege of receiving a Christian education, and the spiritual impact that’s had on them brings me to tears. It’s also allowed my husband to quit his job, so now we both have complete flexibility with our schedules and are able to spend more time with our family.

ThirTy-one? Little did I know when I joined four years ago that God would bring so many fabulous women into my life. My amazing team, my upline, my sister leaders – these women have built me up emotionally and spiritually. This all started with a purse, but it’s developed into a lot of incredible friendships that will stand the test of time, long after the purse has worn out.
