Father Brian Harrington, Pastor
The number of priests per Catholic has declined over the past 40 years. This makes it more difficult for individual parishioners to establish a close relationship with any one particular priest. Furthermore, priests are no longer the only ones who offer pastoral care to our people. Yet without a priest, no parish is able to be a Eucharistic community. It is important to reaffirm the importance of the priesthood of Jesus Christ
Please pray for our parish family members who are sick: Ella Mae LeBlanc, Leslie Douet, Susie M. Romero, Jordyn Turner, Allison Leonard, Shelton Dutil, Ellen McDonald, Haden Coleman, Daniel Alleman., Joseph Campbell, Mack Sedatol, Lacey Horton, Derick Landry, Winnie Belle Menard, Lou Lopez, David Fontenot, Diane Toups, Francis Crochet, Walter LeBlanc, Anna Lee Mendoza, Lee Dautreuil, Kurt Menard, Warren LeBlanc, Carolyn Brown, Amanda Durke, Bill David, Connie Elias, Mabel Landry, Margaret LeBlanc, Kael Bryant Landry, Wendy Bouzigard, Euline Guilbeau, Kyle Bussas, Joseph Fitch, Leah Peltier, Bill DeSoto, Don Pomier, Mary Daigle, Grant Colomb, Debbie Hyde, Robert Romero, Bailey Dore, Kylee Peltier, Willey Poirrier, Patti Gonzales, Camryn Robichaux, Griffin Romero, Noah Randazzo, Casey Derouen & Family, Griffin Monte, Melvin Hamilton, Kade Breaux, L’Oreal Migues, Althonese Landry, Monica Bouillion, Victoria Verret, Johnny Romero, Mary Rentrop, Mary Ann Romero, Elly Romero, Tyler Richard, Tina Bodin, Anthony DeRanger, Jimmy Romero, Billy Thibodeaux, Lorena Williams, Jimmy Derise, Chasity Romero, Gladys Dilbeck, Judy Schexnayder, Chanda Romero, Jackie Gary, Doris Richard, Charles Richard, Kimberly Moreaux, Eyan Derouen, Howard J. Catholic Relief Services
For more than 75 years, CRS has been providing expertise and compassion to the very poorest of our brothers and sisters in more than 100 coun-
tries. But we can't do this lifesaving work without your help. When you give, you help fill the bellies of young children so they can study hard in school. You help prevent trafficking and provide welcome kits for survivors. Your do-nations help mothers and babies around the world receive nutritional care and health exams. Next weekend we will have a second collection for this appeal Glimpses Along The Way of the Cross
In these three beautiful talks, Monsignor James Shea guides us along the Stations of the Cross, teaching us how to better open our hearts to the suffering and loneliness of Jesus on His way to Calvary. These powerful meditations take us into the depths of Christ's agony, and back out again into the relief and joy of what His
sacrifice means for us.
