James 2:23 and the Scripture was

fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was

counted to him as righteousness”—and he was

called a friend of God.

Eph 1:5 he predestined us for

adoption as sons through Jesus Christ,

according to the purpose of his will.

2 Cor. 4:18 - So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Col 3:2 - Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

2 Cor 4:17-18 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen

but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are

transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Eph 3:17-19 I pray that you, being rooted and

established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy

people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of

Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may

be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

the LORD, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had

asked.

Romans 8:31-39 What, then, shall we say in response to these

things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for

us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any

charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 3Who then is the one who

condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right

hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or

danger or sword?
