Phew… it’s over! Whichever side you were on, the one thing that probably most everyone can agree on is that they are relieved that they won’t be waking up every day to more Referendum electioneering. What was very clear though, was just how each side were trying to get those very short and clear messages through to the voters – ‘Taking back control’ and ‘Safer, stronger’ etc.

From a marketing point of view, it highlighted the importance and maybe the necessity when it comes to politics, of repeating your core message. Whatever you believe your potential customer (or voter) is going to want to know about you, it needs to be said…again and again and again.

So, a simple question. What is the one big thing that you should be telling your customers and are you actually doing that in as many ways as possible?

The Referendum campaign was pretty long (as we all know) but the decision making time for a customer can also be a reasonable period of time. Plenty of opportunity to get that core message across!

Complete Care Network, which was launched in 2007 providing a free website to Lancashire Care Association and which has developed into one of the UK’s leading online retailers appeared on the BBC Breakfast programme recently – but it was all a bit of a rush! The business correspondents for the breakfast programme pitched up at Wrea Green recently where Complete Care Shop is located. The business was invited to get involved in the discussions on the famous red sofa which was located by the local duck pond.

The company had to act quickly though to get the coverage as the team only heard that the BBC was heading to their area at 2pm the day before.

Jon Price told us more: “We had to swing into action quickly as we wanted to make sure we got our name on the telly. We discussed various ways of doing this from basic sabotage to training the local ducks to lift up a placard during live filming. Unfortunately, Thom, our local duck whisperer disappointed so we decided to wear a shirt with our logo on – the only thing is, we didn’t have any shirts with our logo on!”

Jon says that he headed for the shops as colleague Andy found a local embroiderer. By now it was mid-afternoon and the meeting time for the show was 5.45am the next morning and so time was limited.

Jon added: “Andy found an embroiderer in Blackpool who would stay on after work to embroider – the guys at TS Printing are our hero’s! I hate shopping and this was no exception, but I delivered two shirts to the

embroiderer by 4pm. We collected them, with logos at 9pm.”

Jon didn’t get a lot of sleep as he arrived at the filming location at 5.45am. He was interviewed in the local pub and says that it was well worth taking part - “Our shop visitors shot up 10-fold and the little bit of coverage brought us a few hundred new visitors to the website which was nice.”

The company started life with a free website, arranging exclusive membership from various suppliers making money from commissions and advertising. “The idea caught on” Jon told us, “and we were soon working with 20 care associations with the same model. After a few years, we passed that side of the business on to another company, Logical Care, so we could focus on a new ambition, running an online shop, Complete Care Shop. Having had a solid foundation within five years, Complete Care Shop has grown to be one of the biggest online ADL retailers in the UK.”

SAP Anywhere and Trade Days have announced a collaboration for the ‘trade only’ show that takes place at the NEC on September 25th to 26th this year.SAP Anywhere and Trade Days say that they first realised that they were a natural pairing when Tariq Mahmood, Partner of SAP Anywhere, and Clare Johnson, Event Director of Trade Days, sat down to discuss a possible collaboration. Retailers buying SAP Anywhere will enjoy a 25% discount for a limited period.

They say that both have developed by specific request and reflect a rapidly changing world. Trade Days – now in its third year – is acknowledged as the go-to event for trade buyers; it is Europe’s sole trade-only event for the mobility, homecare and assistive technology markets. SAP Anywhere is designed to give small and medium size retailers the easy e-commerce that larger chains take for granted - all in an easy, intuitive package that includes full support, without having to recruit. The company says that, in this online age, this levels the playing field and allows you to sell more via your shops as well as online.

Tariq Mahmood of SAP said: “For those currently struggling with different systems and tools running their business where nothing is integrated, SAP Anywhere could be the perfect solution to help the business grow and thrive. SAP Anywhere manages your customer data, sales and inventory, ecommerce and digital marketing from one solution that is fully integrated.”

He added: “SAP Anywhere has been designed to empower growing businesses take control: we understand that there are not enough hours in the day or big technology budgets. For a business to reach its potential, you need to be

able to make business critical decisions which can be difficult if you don’t have all the relevant information readily available, and in one place.”

SAP Anywhere is a single, integrated, cloud-based software solution, that enables retailers to have access to all the information they need to get an instant view of how the business is doing. The company says that it is easy to use and works on any mobile device.

Tariq asked: “Do you need to understand your inventory or how your marketing campaigns are working? How about your sales performance or more detail and analytics on the current state of affairs available in an intuitive graphics-based dashboard? This is the power of SAP Anywhere.

SAP Anywhere will be on stand TG129 at Trade Days 2016.

Italian success for LoopwheelsLoopwheels reports that overseas success has continued at the recent ExpoSanita exhibition in May which was held in Bologna, Italy and attracted in excess of 30,000 visitors over the four days.

Loopwheels was exhibiting in conjunction with its Italian distributor BodyTech, who represent many other established international brands such as TiLite chairs and Varilite cushions.

Loopwheels co-founder Gemma Pearce told us: “The reception Loopwheels received from the Italian trade and general public was fantastic. Clearwell acquires Keep Able Staines

Clearwell Mobility, the South East’s leading mobility retailer, has announced the acquisition of the former Keep Able mobility showroom in Staines-Upon-Thames. The acquisition will see the premises, staff and stock transfer to Clearwell and the showroom will trade under the Clearwell Mobility fascia going forwards. The company is headquartered in Burgess Hill, West Sussex and has an annual turnover of £3.4m.

DHAIS plc commenced trading as a freelance marketing company generating leads for the hearing aid industry in June 2001. The Group now also trades as a retailer of hearing and mobility products via its subsidiary company Hearing Health & Mobility Ltd. Operating from offices in Cardiff and London, DHAIS entered the health sector through acquisitions and operates 15 Hearing & Mobility stores throughout the UK. More recently DHAIS has taken a strategic view to partner with chosen mobility retailers by transferring certain stores to them whilst retaining a hearing aid concession within the transferred store.

The Staines showroom was opened as a Southern Regional Centre for Keep Able in 1996. With an internal area of over 6,000 square feet and 16 customer parking spaces, it is the largest showroom of its kind in the South East.

The company says that this new flagship showroom, together with the recent opening of a new showroom in Woking, Surrey, gives Clearwell a strong base to expand further across London and the Thames Valley region.

Hearing & Mobility will retain a hearing aid

concession at the Staines showroom and will continue to dispense hearing aids and associated products and services. Clearwell Mobility and Hearing & Mobility will work closely to capture the clear synergies between the customer bases of both businesses.

Duncan Gillett, Managing Director of Clearwell Mobility told us: “We are delighted to have completed this important acquisition which will be a catalyst for the next phase of our expansion. The acquisition of the Staines showroom brings the number of showrooms Clearwell operates to ten and cements our position as the leading mobility equipment retailer in the South East.”

Mark Moss, Chairman of DHAIS plc added “The restructuring of our business at the Staines showroom enables us to focus on our core business of dispensing hearing aids. I am confident that our future partnership with Clearwell, will drive greater footfall to the showroom and sales for our core business.”

The website for Clearwell Mobility is at www.clearwellmobility.co.uk

Last month we carried the news that NRS Healthcare was supporting the Silver Line charity’s latest campaign, #SilverWeek2016 across their digital channels. It follows other campaigns that the company has run linked to charity initiatives.

Of course, the reason NRS is developing campaigns like this one is to increase awareness across its social media channels, so, did it have the desired effect?

Lexi Lomas, Digital Content Manager told us: “Almost 10,000 people are now aware of how they could help prevent those who are older from experiencing loneliness. A set of 5 animated gifs were created and promoted on our Twitter platform, which quickly gathered momentum.”

Lexi added: “The result was 47 individual Retweets and a total of over 23,000 impressions by the end of the 6-day campaign which we

were very happy with. We also ran a targeted Facebook Ad, which reached over 9500 people and gained over 120 click-thru’s to our blog – the best part of which saw a number of people asking us for more details on joining the Telephone Friends scheme.”

Founded just a couple of years ago by Dame Esther Rantzen DBE, The Silver Line now receives around 10,000 calls a week.

“The result was 47 individual Retweets and a total of over 23,000 impressions”

Does advertising work in THIIS magazine. This is what Julian Cobbledick of Assistive Partner thinks…“We supply a range of software for healthcare. Since our company’s formation in 2007, Assistive Partner has grown consistently and profitably each year. Somehow, all of that growth has been driven by word of mouth and referral (with the odd successful tender thrown in).

Like any expanding organisation though, to continue the momentum, there has inevitably come a time when we have had to invest in some limited promotional activity. Our first attempt has been very successful and has yielded an excellent return on investment.

And it’s thanks to THIIS magazine. Our first series of three advertisements has resulted in a number of high quality leads and several

sales. So we have decided to extend the THIIS advertising campaign, try a few new offers in DealON! and generally embark on increasing our marketing efforts on several fronts.

I can honestly say that our experience clearly shows that advertising to mobility retailers in THIIS gets results. Thank you.”

After 15 years in the marketplace, Dhais plc which is the parent company of Hearing & Mobility is making what the company describes as strategic adjustments in response to its experiences and results. The company will have its highest record month for Hearing Aid sales this month, having risen considerably over the last few years.

Chairman, Mark Moss, told us: “We acquired businesses to form Hearing & Mobility in late 2008/2009, a time when unexpectedly world stock markets went into turmoil. We have consolidated both hearing and mobility sales inside and outside the stores. Whilst some stores have been cost effective and with a positive contribution, it became clear to us that the exceptionally large stores like Apex Corner and Staines in particular, which were an ex car showroom and Coop respectively, were out of kilter not only with us but most other operators as well and without our stores being in any ‘cluster’ this was giving rise to disproportionate effort to manage and exploit fully any opportunities.”

Mark says that he believes that the company’s efforts now for Return on Investment are best placed by a realignment of the stores into ‘clusters’. “In some cases we are better to work alongside other more experienced and dedicated mobility operators.”

The company has now done just that in two locations, in Swindon and Staines and staff have transferred under TUPE.

Mark added: “Though we may have lost

mobility sales, we have also lost costs and we have importantly gained more footfall and more store opportunities. The other mobility operators have in turn also gained footfall and revenue benefit from hosting our hearing consulting rooms. Going forward our model of Hearing & Mobility will be very much sounder with this rationalisation. It will enable us to pay attention to and understand more fully what contributes to successful outlets, alongside our domiciliary Hearing Aid services.”

“In the future” Mark says, “we are expecting to build on our own ‘clusters’ and shall continue to seek opportunities to expand our presence throughout the UK in conjunction with other operators where suitable.”

30,000 and countingThe Clos-o-Mat Palma Vita wash and dry toilet has seen its 30,000th model roll off the British manufacturing line.

The company says that the landmark affirms the Palma Vita’s position as the brand leader, and Clos-o-Mat as the authoritative marque for wash & dry toilets. The Palma Vita replaced its previous version, the Samoa, almost a decade ago. Similar quantities of Samoa’s were sold during its production life, and many are still in daily use some 30 years after first being manufactured and installed.

The Clos-o-Mat was first introduced into the UK in the 1950s, by Robert Willan, as a solution for his elderly parents’ independence. The Willan family still own the Manchester- based business today.

Precision Rehab has appointed Five Towns Care Centre, part of the Midshires Mobility Group, to be its authorised distributor in an agreed area of the Midlands and North of the UK. Five Towns will be distributing the range of Paravan specialist powered wheelchairs.

Precision Rehab Director, Matthew James, told us: “This agreement will ensure a high standard of assessment, sales process, after sales care including seating reviews, annual service and fast repair coverage. I have been working with Five Towns Care Centre and their experienced team for over 20 years and know they have the high standards required to sell, service and look after our products and client’s requirements.”

Matthew is the founder of Precision Rehab Limited. He says that he decided to start the company due to the lack of specialist powered

wheelchairs in the market place. Matthew

has worked with both the Balder and Etac range of powered wheelchairs for 20 years and following the announcement that this range of chairs would no longer be manufactured started to research the worldwide market for specialist powered wheelchairs.

This lead him to Paravan, a German based manufacture and developer that also wanted to open up into the UK market.

Kingkraft are an assisted bathing, changing and showering manufacturer with over 30 years in the industry. With a team of healthcare professionals and nationwide coverage, we are recognised as specialists in the field of bathing, moving and handling, seating and sensory integration. We provide help and guidance to our customers in making major decisions about room design, layout and specification.

The accredited CPD seminar helps to increase awareness around the issue surrounding the design of bathrooms for people of varying mobility. It covers the range of equipment available, explains relevant standards and guidelines, and we can also provide full working product demonstration alongside the seminar if required.

OTAC seeks to bring together traders and brands offering goods and services in one place so they can discover and learn from each other to the benefit of patients and clients who need support at home, work or in a supported setting.

Organiser Stuart Barrow, of Promoting Independence, said: “We knew there was the potential for success for an event like this. The idea was to provide a bespoke and friendly environment which offered the ability to learn about innovation, meet new contacts and forge relationships for ongoing support and business which all ultimately help the customer, client or patient.”

“Many larger trade shows are so big that it’s difficult to spend any real time with guests whereas our aim is to ensure the size of the conference works for all concerned”

The first event in 2015, proved so successful, Cardiff was added and two were scheduled for this year. The first OTAC 2016 took place in Reading in April and was supported by brands including Contour showers; Handicare; Limbcare; Kingkraft; Triton Showers, Remap, MG Retail Consulting and Maid2Aid.

The second OTAC this year will be held on Wednesday, December 7th from 9am at the Hilton Hotel & Spa in Newcastle, Gateshead with more than 50 exhibition stands and offering 15 seminars on various topics including: children specific seminars, the law, seating, hands on demonstrations, sensory loss, moving and handling, 3D Planning and environmental adaptation considerations.

Stuart said: “We’ve already got companies who have booked a stand immediately following our Reading event including names like Safe Spaces, Handicare and Recliners. We are very targeted at getting the right people to attend and, to date, we’ve seen occupational therapists, health commissioners, charities, housing associations and many other people representing organisations who offer support to those who wish to live well with challenges.”

The man behind OTAC is Stuart Barrow, founder and managing director of Promoting Independence - a provider of occupational therapy services to residential and commercial clients across the UK.

The company was created in December 2012 by Stuart, who qualified as an Occupational Therapist ten years earlier. Based near Cardiff in the Vale of Glamorgan, the company offers three main services:

Bespoke occupational therapy consultancy to manufacturers and suppliers of goods to the disabled.

Bespoke occupational therapy assessments and recommendations to individuals – this can be through a third party such as an advocate, charity or fund holder. For example, Wales & the West Housing; charities such as LimbCare and Just 4 Children.

Training and exhibition services – principally through OTAC (Occupational Therapy Adaptations Conference).

Bringing occupational therapists together with brands is proving popular

The success of OTAC – Occupational Therapy & Adaptation Conference – has taken the organisers by storm and has led to the next event in December being booked rapidly with more venues confirmed for 2017.

Jo Lawson, RNIB an Independent Living Manager who attended the Reading and Cardiff events, said:

OTAC is as an excellent day for all involved. We can’t wait to see what is planned for 2017.

For many small to medium businesses, the costs associated with being able to access some of the industry’s most useful tools can be high, often preventing companies from reaching their full potential. Body dryer specialist airTeem however overcame this barrier by spending time in their local library.Formed by Ryan Godwin and Matthew Kendall to rebrand and promote the body dryer concept developed by Ryan’s father, Michael Godwin, in 1991, the Greater Manchester based company has achieved growth over the years and attributes some of this success to the Manchester Central Library.

Matthew attended the library in 2014 to attend a monthly Inventor’s Group in the hope of networking and finding out more about protecting Intellectual Property (IP) and discovered the extensive amount of support available for SMEs.

Matthew said: “Working with the library when we initially built up the business was an excellent source of networking and free resources. We could use market research tools, which may have cost hundreds of pounds, to get key bits of marketing and PR material about our market and customers. We had access to software which allowed us to produce our own publications and other promotional information free of charge. We took part in workshops which covered IP and copyright – something we found to be very important! We even had the opportunity to develop a piece of R&D work with the 3D printers at the library.”

He added: “Also, thanks to the information received via the group and at IP & Patent clinics in the Business & IP Centre, airTeem was able to successfully register several product designs and now holds five UK trademarks. We still attend workshops regularly to develop our skills,

increase our understanding and to network. The Manchester Central Library has been a great asset to airTeem and I would recommend it and its services to any start-up or entrepreneur.”

The library’s videoconferencing facility has also helped airTeem develop and maintain a strong distribution network, with the company now exporting in five countries as Matthew explains: “Our hard work and brand commitment has resulted in a network developing throughout the UK and Europe including secured distribution in Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand and France. This progress takes us forward with confidence into our Silver Jubilee Year. We have liaised with the UKTI, a fabulous organisation which has assisted, facilitated and guided us through the exporting process.”

airTeem is now developing the registered product designs following market research undertaken with the help of Medilink Northwest, as well as looking into ways to develop a body dryer operation switch to make it easier to operate for their clients.

New warehouse and delivery system for ContinenceAssistive Partner has launched a specialist solution for the delivery of continence services with UNIQUS Incon.

The company specialises in software for healthcare and has worked closely with a Midlands NHS Trust to allow them to have a secure, confidential database of patients linked to warehouse and delivery systems that is totally independent from their soft goods supplier.

The company says that the Trust is prepared to testify that the results have saved a great deal of costs, made them more efficient and allowed them to re-tender for a goods supplier in a manner which again produced significant savings and zero risk regarding future database transfers.

Selling mobile phones might not be something you have considered before, but Fuss Free Phones has launched a new sales pack which has been developed for retailers in our marketplace. The company says that the service is already being sold by The Mobility Store in Swindon, Clearwell Mobility in the South East and Simply Health’s new Independent Living stores.

The company says that it takes the fuss out of using a phone by having real people to help with every call, or users can dial themselves using an easy to use handset. There are no automated call services and no monthly bills. There is help on hand in an emergency and someone to manage the phonebook, like an old-fashioned Personal Assistant. It also allows people to send texts without having to press any buttons.

Since late 2015, London-based Fuss Free Phones has been selling its service via mobile phone shops UK-wide, but is now shifting focus to retailers in our marketplace with the aim of ensuring customers have a more pleasant and personal shopping experience.

Fuss Free Phones, founder Simon Rockman told us: “While mobile phone salespeople understand the needs of the modern phone user, they often don’t recognise the problems many older and disabled customers encounter

and therefore are not advising them on the best products. It is hoped that homecare specialists, with their deeper understanding of customers’ requirements, will be more consultative and understanding, directing sales more appropriately.”

Fuss Free Phones’ new homecare retail package removes the need for salespeople to understand the overall mobile phone business as it provides the phone and service offering in one simple bundle. It means salespeople can concrete on explaining how the service might help customers while listening to their individual needs. For retailers, there is a good margin on the handset and an initial sales bonus, with the typical value of a sale being over £200. Simon says that what really makes Fuss Free Phones attractive is a quarterly revenue share.

Once a customer has purchased their phone, a simple Doro handset, they just have to press one big button to be connected to a friendly Southend-based telephonist. The telephonist will place calls, filter incoming calls, send and read text messages and help find them information on the internet.

Telephonists usually answer instantly. When they’re speaking to a customer, a ‘Trusted Callers List’ pops up on their screen showing the names of the people that customer may want to speak to. They either click on the requested name to put the customer through or send a text that the customer has verbalised. They can also read out text replies and search for information on the internet.

Simon explained: “Another major selling point for Fuss Free Phones is that the ‘Trusted Callers List’ is used to ensure only genuine calls are put through. Those on the list are automatically connected to a customer’s mobile but everyone else is diverted to the call centre to be assessed; nuisance callers – from accident claims lines to PPI sales people – will be hung up on by the telephonist and then blocked.”

The handset sells for between £30 and £80 with the customer paying a £20 monthly fixed

service cost and the service is not contract-based and there are no automatic extras. It can be cancelled at any time.

Simon added: “We recognise that as much as it might seem that we are a technology company, we are really about care. The key to the quality of our service is the call centre - we put a lot of time and effort into finding the right telephonists and training them to be sensitive to the varying needs of our customers.”

Mobility and homecare specialists who want to learn more about how the Fuss Free Phones service might be a valuable addition to their product portfolio can contact the company on 07418 200200 or email the CEO Howard Lewis: [email protected].

Non-Slip Kitchen and

Dining Products

PETA moves production to the UKPETA UK LTD has moved the production of its range of Easi-Grip knives to the UK.

The updated range of knives is the result of a complete design make-over of their original kitchen range. Managing Director, Genny Crockett, told us: “We have always been proud of the ergonomics and functionality of our knives, however, we were not so proud of the look of them. We worked with a design student who developed a much curvier shape which we loved and introduced a vibrant colour. The result is a really funky design yet still retains the integrity of the ergonomic design principles.”

The final stage of the transition of these knives to the new generation was to move production to UK. Genny says “With so many sales online these days it is difficult to differentiate and show a commitment to quality. We already make a large percentage of our products in UK; so we became members of the ‘Made in Britain’ campaign as we believe this to be a mark of quality.”

Genny added: “Reshoring production to UK means that we have more control over the process. Our lead-times are also dramatically reduced.”

Introducing ‘Appraisals’not ‘Reprisals’Do you get frustrated that after all the time, effort and money you have spent developing great appraisal documentation, staff appraisals still don’t work. Well maybe there’s more to it than simply the documentation.

When most employers speak to me about introducing a staff appraisal ‘system’, they generally want me to help them develop staff appraisal ‘documentation’.

Whilst the documentation is important, I would rather offer you a few tips around the whole process of introducing staff appraisal to an organisation, not just throwing paperwork at people.

My first tip is: Understand your employees’ attitude to and perception of staff appraisal.

Many employees, usually from previous experience, view staff appraisal in a very negative light. Understanding how positive/negative employees are towards the subject allows you to gauge how much of a ‘selling job’ is required on your people.

My second tip is: Clarify with your employees what a staff appraisal actually is.

Given the many perceptions people have of appraisals, I usually tell my people that an appraisal is:

• An assessment of an employee’s performance, potential and development needs.

• A structured ‘stocktaking’ and planning meeting allowing both parties to discuss and give feedback on a wide variety of performance issues.

• An extension of your existing ongoing relationship.• All of the above definitions are designed to

reduce the potential fear levels and reticence of employees.

My third tip is: Sell the benefits of staff appraisal.A selling job is often required to obtain ‘buy in’ from

employees to the appraisal system. The main benefits I try to illustrate and emphasis are that appraisals:

• Help improve the employee’s performance• Help Identify the employee’s strengths/

improvement areas• Help Identify areas of future potential/career

progression • Gives the employee a sense of direction • Strengthen manager/employee relationships• Identify how well the employee has been managed• Provide an opportunity to clarify/re clarify roles• Provide an opportunity to identify training and

development needs• Provide an opportunity for talent spotting and

succession planning• Provide an opportunity for ongoing feedback to be

drawn together

My fourth tip is: Don’t put all the emphasis on the paperwork.

The actual documentation is designed as a framework to help your discussion and a recording mechanism to capture points raised. It also acts as a reference point to aid future discussions. The documentation should be flexible in

its use. Always remember it is the appraisal discussion that is most important NOT the completion of a form. Always remember ‘You rule the form... don’t let the form rule you’!

Focus

Staff developmentIn his last article Tom Courtney, Managing Director of Courtney Associates (Global) spoke about ‘Ditching staff appraisals and starting to talk to your people’. Here Tom develops the debate by recognising that staff appraisals DO have their place IF you ‘start talking to your people’. The problem you then face is how to actually introduce the staff appraisal system itself.

“Always remember, you rule the form...don’t let

the form rule you”

Page 52: Thiis July 2016 issue

52 www.thiis.co.uk

My fifth tip is: Ensure the appraisal meeting with your employee feels part of your on-going relationship.

I tend not to talk about an ‘appraisal interview’, I much prefer to refer to it as an ‘appraisal meeting’. I like to keep it informal and cover all elements contained in the document.

NB - if there has been open feedback throughout the year with my employee, nothing should come as a surprise at the actual appraisal meeting – There should be no shocks at an appraisal.

My sixth tip is train, coach, inform, support and educate your employees on staff appraisal.

This training should take into account the staff appraisal process, the purpose and benefits of staff appraisal, the planning, structuring and conducting of the appraisal meeting and the use of the documentation.

My Top Tips for Introducing a staff appraisal system to your company:

• Understand your employees’ attitude to and perception of ‘staff appraisal’.

• Clarify with your employees what a staff appraisal actually is.

• Sell the benefits of staff appraisal.• Don’t put all the emphasis on the paperwork.• Ensure the appraisal meeting with your employee

feels part of your on-going relationship.• Train, coach, inform, support and educate your

staff on staff appraisal.

TGA thriller as service trumps salesTGA Mobility has recently held its annual ‘Service vs. Sales’ 6-a-side football match, which resulted in a resounding and thoroughly deserved 3-1 win for the Service Department.

Every year these TGA departments compete against one another on a local Astro turf pitch to win the converted ‘TGA Tiller Trophy’, ending with a quiz at a local pub.
