The goal of this project is to get more people to star t cycling for urban transpor t.

Bicycles are one of the key elements for enter-ing a sustainable future. However, compared to other advanced countr ies, the American bicycle culture is small. In 2009, only 4% of daily tr ips were made on bicycles in America. Because of the huge car culture and the com-muting pattern, bicycles have been perceived as a method of exercise rather than a form of transpor tation that can help people get where they need to go.
