Introduction | Technical Principle

Any object with temperature above absolute zero (-273.15 °C) emits infrared radiation. Infrared radiation sits between

the visible spectrum and microwave spectrum. Although we can’t see it, we experience it every day. Sun and fire are

also sources of infrared energy that we can feel through its heat. Thermal imaging converts the infrared radiation into

gray value, and then image is generated by the difference of gray value of each object.
