Our Inspiration
Mr. V. B. Haribhakti has been the guiding light for DHC through its six decades of
operations. His professional career personifies the quality orientation that DHC has
aspired for and has modelled its service delivery process on.
Mr. V. B. Haribhakti is also a prominent and well respected figure in the trade and
industrial circles in India. The Government of India had appointed him as an
independent director in public sector enterprises and as a member of the Sales Tax
Enquiry Committee. He continues to render guidance to many large limited companies
as an Independent Director.
Mr. V. B. Haribhakti was the Deputy Leader of the Indian delegation the to the IX
international Congress of Accountants held in Paris where he submitted a paper on
“Accountant's Role in the Evaluation of Capital Investments”. He is the author of
“Taxation of Non-Residents in India”.
As a recognition for his outstanding achievements, he was awarded the International
Man of the Year 2000-01 by the International Centre, Cambridge, England.

Over decades of hands-on professional involvement, he has worked through myriad
engagements which have defined the future at DHC. His passion for quality is

He represented India on the Standards Advisory Council (SAC) of the International
Accounting Standards Board (IASB). He worked with PBAS, an affiliate of IFC
Washington, to establish activity based Costing and Strategic Planning Processes in
Polish SMEs.

Governance and promoting a greener environment. He actively promotes these

Mr. Dilip B. Desai, a Gold Medalist, is a Chartered Accountant, respected Nationally
& Internationally for his expertise in Corporate Finance & Advisory and in Corporate
Taxation (Direct, Indirect & International). He is also very well known for his multi-
faceted competence in mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring.
Mr. Desai is a thinker and a scholar, well regarded for his diligence and his
professional approach to work as well as his unassuming demeanour. He has always
inspired to dream big and deliver. His vision and inspirational leadership has
immensely helped clients belonging to diverse verticals and has taken them to new
heights of success nationally and internationally.
A State Topper in the School days, Mr. Desai was ranked First in CA Entrance & CA
Final Examinations in whole of eastern India and was awarded Gold Medal for his
performance in CA Final Examination. Mr. Desai has trained more than 3000
Chartered Accountants under him and has been declared as “National Scholar” by the
Ministry of Education & Culture, Government of India.

(FCA) and with over 17 years of experience in accounting and assurance services.
He brings to fore a plethora of knowledge, experience and expertise with
proficiency and finesse.
He has been with DHC since early 2006 and has been a continual part of the core
leadership team. He has actively participated in various strategic policy matters
and initiatives, strategic integration of firms and expansions of team, offices and
