There were two sets of Marvel bubble gum stickers produced by Topps in the 1970s:

Marvel Super Heroes Stickers (1976)Comic Book Heroes (1975)

Unopened boxes

Both sets can be found with either one or two asterisks near the copyright info:

*

**The single or double asterisks may be the test market version and the wide market version, but no one can say for sure. Because I seem to find them in equal quantities, I think it may have just been different print runs. I collect them both anyway.

Both sets have a checklist, each of which is a puzzle piece, which, together form a comic book cover:

1975: 1976:

Both sets of checklists/puzzles were printed on both white cardboard, and tan paper. I’m trying to collect sets of both.

Conan #1Fantastic Four #100

There are actual variants (the phrases are different), and trademark variants (differences in copyright or trademark details).
