Auburn University Theatre presents “Alabama Love Stories” with accessible and sensory friendly performance dates! The accessibility team is working to ensure
that this play is welcoming to ALL patrons through these enhanced performances.
Our accessible team is working with a company of sign language interpreters, cre-ating 3D models of the set and tactile lobby displays, designing open captions with colors for each cast member, scripting audio description narrated by characters of
the play and tactile tours for patrons to feel as part of the production and meet the cast (all of these for April 13th). There will be light warning signs to notify guests
when sudden sounds or lights shift (for April 16th). We are working with all of the designers on the production to ensure that accessibility is part of the design from
the very beginning.
