E-donation is a web application under extranet environment that will be added to Dammam university website in order to donation services electronically and remotely to the university members. It operates in all devices; started from Windows or Mac PCs and ends up with smart phones and tablets with different software systems such IOs or Android. As you know, without software, computers would be useless; Internet browser is the most important software, which gives the user the ability to access the university sites. It can be accessed through different web browsers such as, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Asp.net programming language develops this web application. Uses VBScript or Jscript to make dynamic web applications. The advantage of using Asp.net that it is significantly reduces the amount of code required for building large and complex applications, which can increase overall development speed and reduce development costs. It also allows you to build a variety of web-based solutions, social networking websites and applications ( Devshed).

In terms of security that donation process should be carefully done with, users privet data including their national and university IDs, credit card numbers is already stored in the university database under high security system. The process that user usually go through to pay money online weather it is donation or not, will be reduced. Users would feel safe when they did their online donation through a trusted university website.
