shown through my own personal experience with my own parents.

This is the situation in the movie Into the Wild for the

main character Chris McCandless struggles to come to terms with the

choices his parents made. The McCandless’ decision to hide the truth from their children, Chris and Carine, significantly affected them.

The movie focuses primarily upon Chris who chooses to leave home, abandoning all material

possession, and seek happiness in his own way.
