Theme installation

First of all we start wamp server by clickingon icon of wamp.

After starting wamp go to the localhost byclicking on localhost or,

We can type in search bar/url bar this urlas=>localhost/magento/admin

By clicking enter button we reached in adminpanel.

In admin panel we see a header bar in whichclick on SYSTEM.

After click on system we go on MAGENTOCONNECT.

After click on magento connect a new fileis opened.

In this two options are found.

Out of these options select the first optionthat is MAGENTO CONNECT MANAGER.

By click on this option we reached in aLOG IN page.

In this page we insert own login id andpassword.

After click on login we reached on a newpage.

In this page (magento downloader) wefind a new heading that is INSTALL NEWEXTENSIONS.

Under this heading we found two options.

In which options clicking the first optionon magento connect which is appear inother color.

After clicking on this we reached in a newpage which is open in a new tab.

In this page we see in header panel aoption that is theme.

Clicking on theTHEME the page starts reloadingand themes are found on the page and right sideof the page three buttons are found.

These are 1.ALL 2.PAID 3.FREE.

After selecting the type of theme(for selectingthe theme we click on the theme.)

We found a button that is INSTALLED NOW clickon this button.

After clicking two button are found on firstbutton we select the version of our magentowhich is 2.0 or whatever your version is.

And another button clicking select the url key ofthe theme.

This url key is coping and paste another page

which is last page is magento downloader.

And paste this key in a block of second

option of the INSTALL NEW EXTENSIONS.

Before clicking the INSTALL button flush thecache memory follow by the path->

SYSTEM->CACHE MANAGEMENT.

By clicking the button install a red colourbutton is found which is PROCEED button.

Clicking this button procedure is run.

After successfully installation of theme ared button is come at the left side footerof the page .

By clicking the button your theme

installation is completed.

Still theme is not installed properly ,cachememory flush again.

Logo installation

First of all we go there,where wamp serversetup is installed.

By clicking the wamp followed this pathwhich is given below=>

The path is WAMP->WWW->MAGENTO->SKIN->FRONTEND->DEFAULT->DEFAULT-> IMAGES.

At this place we copied the image which is

used as a logo image. And rename the image with a particular

name.

After this we go at the backend page by url=localhost/magento/admin

And clicking on the SYSTEM->CONFIGURATION.

A new page is opened and here clicking onthe design button.

By clicking on this button some options arefound.

In which option HEADER option is selected . There three blocks are found in first block

insert the image name which is given by us atthe wamp path.

Logo installation

In second block insert a message whichshows at the logo images.

Thus changing these content saved theconfiguration.

By this procedure logo image will bechanged at the home page.

If logo is not installed properly flush the

cache memory go to in cachemanagement system.

Image uploading

First of all we go at the backend page.

At the backend page in header panel clickingon the CMS.

By clicking on the CMS we get a option isPAGES.

Clicking on the PAGES we reached in a new

page . Here many options are found.

Clicking on HOME PAGE a new page is

opened.

At this we click on the CONTENT which isgiven at the left side of the page.

After this we get a red colour button which is

SHOW/HIDE EDITOR. Clicking on this button we get a box where

image url is copied in html formate.

After this page is saved.

Thus image is uploaded at the home page.
