Putting it all together! Sketchbook development is a vital part of the creative process!

Now that you have practiced the features and have an understanding of how the proportions of the face go hand in hand it’s time to start developing your idea for your final project!

“"I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best." ~ Frida Kahlo

Your sketchbook development should have examples of color schemes with color swatches! Pinterest is an AMAZING resource for this! Just search color schemes.

Along with color scheme swatches you should have a rough draft portrait that illustrates one of the themes listed below.

You will need to have more than rough draft of your portrait, as well multiple color swatches. If you cannot print the swatches please save them or upload them to google classroom.

Sketchbook development should be a minimum of 2 pages!

Check google classroom for more resources!
