Change for Change Last semester we asked schools to donate canned goods for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for the holiday season. For the spring service project, the 4-H team is holding a fundraiser called Change for Change and it couldn’t be an easier way to get your students, school, and community involved. We will supply a container to any school that wishes to participate and all you have to do is simply place the container in your school’s office or your classroom and collect ANY free change! We will collect these containers no later than April 17th, tally the collections and donate the money to a community project in need of aid. Last year over $700.00 was collected from EBR 4-H’ers and donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Society so let’s try this year to meet or exceed last year’s collection! Please be sure to let your agent know that you would like to take part in this very rewarding opportunity!
