1.1ForewordTheWorldPool-BilliardAssociation(WPA)istheworldgoverningbodyforalltypesofPocketBilliard games, including but not limited to Pool-Billiard, Black-Ball, Russian Pyramid andArtistic Pool. TheWPA sets the rules and the guidelines for these games and is the soleauthorityworldwidewithregardsofPocketBilliards.TheWPAisthememberoftheWorldConfederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) to represent the sport of Pool. The WCBS is amemberoftheInternationalOlympicCommittee(IOC).TheWPAmembersare:

EventsormatchesbetweenWPAmemberorganizations and theirmembers/athletes, andoutsideorganizationsarenotpermittedunlesstheycomplywiththeconditionsassetdownintheWPASanctioningCatalogue.ExceptionsarepossibleifpermissionissoughtinwritingandagreedbyaWPABoarddecision.

1.2OfficialLanguageThe official language is English. If any discrepancies occur through translation, then theEnglishversionoftheSportsRegulations,includingRulesandRegulations,areapplied.

1.3GeneralThese Regulations are applicable for the disciplines under the control of the WPA. AllmemberAssociationsandindependentorganisersmustusetheseguidelinesforallRankingevents.TheSportsRegulationsarerulingovertheframeworkofthesportingactivitiesoftheWPA. The WPA Sports Director shall make amendments to these Regulations and any

change that is made will come into force immediately after approval from Board ofDirectors.

1.5SportsCalendarThe WPA Sports Calendar is updated on a regular basis. All members are required toannouncetheireventsassoonaspossible.TheWPAwillmakeeveryefforttoavoidaclashofdates,butifitoccursandunlesstheAssociationscanagreeonasolution,thepriorityisasfollows:

• WorldChampionshipshavethehighestpriority.Nootherpool-billiardeventmaybescheduledonaWorldChampionshipdate.

• Multi Sports events on a World or Continental level such as World Games, SEAGames etc., arranged by different organisations have the highest priority if poolbilliardisincludedintheGames.

• WorldRankingEvents• SanctionedEvents• Withall otherevents, theoneannouncedearliestwill havepriority, the latterone

willhavetoreschedule.• ContinentaleventswhichareincludedintheWPARankinglist.

Events announced byWPA members will be added to the calendar as early as possible.Sanctionedeventswillbeaddedassoonasacceptancehasbeenvalidated.WPAcannotbeheld responsible for anymisprints on theWPA Calendar, be it on the website or on theemailedfile,theresponsibilitylieswithrespectiveOrganiser.

1.6SportsseasonThesportsseasonoftheWPAstartsonJanuary1stofeachyear,andendsonDecember31stofthesameyear.

1.7SportsEquipmentThe sports equipment must meet the specifications listed in the WPA SpecificationCatalogue which must be acknowledged by the Sports Director or the appointedrepresentative(SeetheWPASpecificationCatalogue).In caseofficially acknowledged sportsequipment isnotbeingused, the right toprotest isgiven.Anathletedoesnothavetherighttorefusefromparticipatingbasedupontheuseofnotacknowledgedmaterial.

1.8AthleteMembershipAnyathleteiseligibletojoinaWPAaffiliatedorganisationinthecountryoftheirresidenceaccordingtotheconditionsofmembershipbythenational/continentalassociation.Suchanassociationcannotdenyapersonmembershipunreasonably.Ifthepersonisnotacitizenofthecountryofwherehe/sheresides,theymayberestrictedtowhattypeofeventstheywouldbeeligibletoenter,accordingtotherulesandregulationsofthatNationalassociation.Torepresentacertaincountry,athletemusthaveavalidpassporttoprovetheircitizenshipandbeamemberofarespectiveNationalassociation. Ifapersonhasdualcitizenship,theathlete must declare which citizenship he/she is going to use for representation atInternational events. An athlete cannot change his/her citizenship without first serving aperiodoftwoyearsofnotrepresentingeithercountry.Thethree-yearabstentionperiodwillcommencefromthetimethattheathletenotifiestheauthoritiesinwritingoftheirintentiontochangecitizenship.

1.9InsuranceEveryathletewhocompetesinaneventwhichissanctionedand/ororganizedbytheWPAshouldhavesufficientmedicalandtravelinsurances.TheWPAwillnotbeheldresponsibleforanytypeofinsuranceclaimforwhateverreasonorcauseofanyathlete.

1.10Advertising/LogosThewearingofadvertisingorlogosonanathlete’sattiremayberestrictedornotpermittedincertaineventsand/orcountries.GenerallyWPAallowsathletestowearadvertisingthatare:

• Inaccordancewithmoralandethicalstandards• Notlinkedtoanybrandthatisdeemedillegalbylaw• NotadvertisingtobaccooralcoholproductswithoutexpressapprovaloftheWPAin

writing• Nondominantinsizeand/orcolour

TheTournamentDirectoronsitewillhaveauthoritytotakeadecisiononwhatispermissibleornot.Athletesmayberequiredtowearasponsorlogoorshirtataparticularevent,asperpartofthe Athletes Agreement Form, (see Appendix 1). If so, this must be publicized in theannouncementoftheevent.

1.11CodeofConductAllathletesmustactandbehaveatalltimesinthebestinterestsofthesportthatistobeexpectedofaprofessional.Anathletewillrefrainfrommakingpubliccommentsthatcouldbedeemedasbringingthesportintodisrepute.Ifanathletefailstoactproperly,he/shewillbedealtinaccordancewiththepenaltiessetforthinDisciplinaryCatalogue(seepoint6.6).

1.12AwardCeremonyAnawardceremonywilltakeplaceatthecompletionofanevent.Themedalswillbelinedupforwinner, runnerupandtwo(2) thirdplaces.Theawardceremony isdeemedtoendwithNationalanthemoftheChampion.Athletesfinishinginthefinalfourplacesareobligedtoattendsuchaceremony intheofficialdresscode.Anyathletewhofails toattendmustprovideawrittenexplanationtotheTournamentDirector;otherwiseanathletewillbedealtaccordingtotheCodeofConductandProtestGuidelines.

1.13WPAWebsiteTheOfficialWPAwebsiteiswww.wpapool.comAllinformationwithregardstotheWPA,itsmembers,pastchampionships,RulesofPlayandmuchmorecanbefoundonthewebsite.TherankingsandCalendarisalwayslatestupdatedversion.

1.14WPASanctionedEventsAnyeventwhere8athletesor1/8ofthefield,whicheverissmaller,areathleteswhoresideinanothercontinent,it’sdeemedasan“intercontinentalevent”.Inthiscase,theWPAmustsanctiontheevent.PleaserefertotheWPASanctioningCatalogue.

1.14.1Competinginnon-sanctionedeventsAnyathletecompetinginanyothereventwithoutwrittenconsentthatisbeingheldinthesameperiodasaWPAeventwillbedealtwithinaccordancewiththepenaltiessetforthinDisciplinaryCatalogue(seepoint6.6).

1.15WPASportsRegulations,AlterationsandAmendmentsIncaseofspecialcircumstancesandsituationsthathavenotbeenpossibletoforesee,theWPA Sports Director or his representative is permitted to make necessary changes oramendmentstotheseregulationsshouldthisberequiredforthecarryingoutofanevent.

2.Anti-DopingAs part of our membership requirements of theWCBS all ranking events are conductedundertherulesofWADA.The WCBS Anti-Doping Rules can be viewed on www.worldbilliard.com/AntiDoping.pdfFurtherAnti-Doping regulations, information and the List of Prohibited Substances canbeviewedontheWADAwebsitewww.wada-ama.orgAppropriate authorities at any WPA sanctioned event may conduct drug testing withoutpriornoticetoathletes.Selectionofathletestobetestedmaybechosenbyrandom,orbyanyothermeans.Athletesmayalsobe subjected toout-of-competition testing.MembersmustmaketheirathletesawareofWADA,itsoperationsandwhatisrequiredandexpectedbytheathlete.It is the ultimate responsibility of the athlete to ensure that he/she conforms to WADArequirements.

2.1WithholdingofPrizeMoneyAnyathletewhoundergoesadrugtestmayhavetheirfullpaymentofprizemoneywithhelduntiltheresultsofthetestareknown.Ifthetestisclear,thebalanceoftheprizemoneywillbepaidimmediately.Ifapositiveresultisreturned,theathletewillbedisqualifiedfromtheevent,andwillforfeitany recognition from the event, and will forfeit all prizemoney. In the case where prizemoney has been paid, this is repayable back to theWPAwithin 21 days of notice beingserved. Any athlete who is in breach of a Code of conduct will have their prize moneywithhelduntilthematterhasbeenresolvedandadecisionhasbeenreached.

2.2BanningofAthletesInternationallyAMemberAssociationmayrequestanInternationalbanofitsathlete.ForanInternationalban to be enforced, aMember Association should send all documents with reasons andexplanationsandtheirbanningproceduretotheWPA.Onreceiptofthisdocumentation,theWPAboardwillstudythedocumentsandgiveorrevoketheInternationalbanapplication.

2.3Continentaltesting’sEverysportseason(5)fiveoutofsixmembersarerequieredtoconductatleast(2)twoanti-dopingtestsperyear,(1)oneofeachgender,togetherwithWPAontherotationbasis.2017–AAPAisexludedfromtherule2018–APBUisexludedfromtherule2019–BCAisexludedfromtherule2020–CPBisexcludedfromtherule2021–EPBFIsexcludedfromtherule2022–OPBAisexcludedfromtheruleThesetestsmustbesubmittedtotheWPAnolaterthanDecember1st inthesamesportsseason.IncasewhereaMembercannotmeet these requirements, theymust informtheWPAnolaterthanMarch31stinthesamesportsseason.ForthesememberstheWPAwillmakethetestingandtherespectiveMemberwillcoverallcostsforthetesting.

3.1DefinitionTheWorldChampionship is the competition that determines the title of an athlete “WPAWorld(discipline)Champion(year).Thereshallonlybeoneworldchampionshipeachyearineachdisciplineandcategory.ExceptionstothismustbeapprovedbyaGeneralAssembly.

3.2AuthorityfororganizationApplicationsforhostingoftheWCcanbesubmittedby:

• ContinentalAssociations(CF)• RegionalAssociationswithCFapproval• Thirdparties

The WPA will undertake all negotiations with such requests, as explained in Event BidManual.

3.3DateanddurationTheWPABoardisresponsibleforthefixingofdatesfortheWCevents.Suchdatesshouldbefixedforoneyearahead.ClassificationanddurationoftheeventsorganizedbytheWPA

3.7TournamentSystemThemostsuitablesystemforconductingarankingeventmayvaryfromeventtoeventduetotheneedsofeachrespectiveOrganiser.Theoptionsforaplayingformatincludebutarenotlimitedto:

• Singleelimination• Doubleelimination• A combination of group (double elimination in groups of 8) and single

elimination• RoundRobin

ExceptionstotheabovemaybenegotiatedbetweentheOrganiserandWPA.Stage2ofallrankingeventsmustbecompletedwithinaperiodofoneweek.AllWorldChampionshipseventsarebeingstartedinadoubleeliminationformatorroundrobin, and will be turned into a single elimination format once half the field has beeneliminated, or at some other stage as decided between the WPA Sports Director andOrganizer.

3.10TheDrawThedrawforallrankingeventswillbedoneunderthesupervisionandauthorityoftheWPASportsDirectororhisappointedrepresentative.

3.11SeededAthletesThenumberofseededathletesdependsuponthesizeofthefield,butnomorethan50%ofthefieldshallbeseeded.Indoubleeliminationgroupplay,theremayonlybeamaximumof2seededathletespergroup.DOUBLESEEDINGIn group/single elimination events, players will be seeded according to their WPA worldrankingforboththegroupstageandsingleeliminationstage.Thedefendingchampionwillbeseedednumber1regardlessofhis/herWPArankingposition.

3.12EntryFeeEntry fees to tournaments will be payable in full via bank trough theMember or at thePlayer’sMeeting.Non-paymentoftheentryfeewillcausecancellationoftheentrantfromthe tournament.No athletewill be permitted to start in an event until the entry fee hasbeenpaid.

3.12.1EntryFeeguidelinesEntryFeesaremadeandamendedbytheBoardoftheWPA,butshouldnotexceed0.5%ofthetotalprizemoney.TherearenoentryfeesapplicablefortheJuniororWheelchairWorldChampionships.

3.13PrizeMoneyThe following indicates the requirementsofprizemoney for rankingevents.This is addedmoney,nottoincludeanyentryfeesetc.• Category1 WorldChampionships(men&women)MinimumofUSD100,000• Category2 USD75,000orabove• Category3 BetweenUSD50,000andUSD74,999

Events for junior athletes, including the JuniorWorld Championships are purely amateureventsandnoprizemoneyispaid.

3.14PlayerMeetingsAllathleteswhoareparticipatingintheWPAeventsmustattendpre-scheduledtournamentplayermeetings.Thesemeetingsaremandatoryforallathletes,andnon-attendancewillbedealtwithaccordingtothepenaltiessetforthindisciplinarycatalogue(Seepoint6.6).Non-attendanceisnotpermitted,howeveritisunderstoodthatthereareoccasionsthatlatearrivalsarebeyondthecontrolofindividuals(e.g.changeofairlineschedule).Proofoflatearrivalwillberequired.Otherplayingcommitmentsarenotanacceptableexcuse.Failuretoattend a player'smeeting will cause a $275 fine for the first offence, and $500 for eachsubsequentoffence.ThesepenaltieswillbeatthediscretionoftheWPASportsDirectororhisrepresentative.

3.15ReplacementoftheathleteIfanathletefailstoattendthePlayermeetingwithoutanoticetotheWPASportsDirectornolaterthan8hoursbeforethemeetingtakesplace,he/shewillbereplacedwiththefirstathleteassignedfromthewaitinglistattheStage1event.

3.16AthleteAgreementFormAll athletes who participate at WPA Ranking events are required to sign an AthleteAgreementForm(seeappendix1).Thisformisvalidfromthedateofsigninguntilthe31stDecemberofthatyear.

3.17AthleteEligibilityAnyathletewho isamember ingoodstandingofanaffiliatedorganisationof theWPA iseligibletoplay inanyrankingevent.Athleteswillhavetheopportunityofqualifyingeitherthroughhavingarankinghighenoughtoreceiveanautomaticinvite,anallocationspotfromtheirContinentalAssociationorbywinningapositioninanofficialqualifyingtournament.

3.18WalkoverAthletesmustbeatthetableandreadytoplaytheirassignedmatchattheappointedmatchtime.Ifanathleteislateforhisappointedmatchtime,hewillbepenalizedwithonerack.Asecond call will be made after five minutes, and a second rack will be awarded to theopponent.Aftertenminutesafinalcallwillbemadeandafurtherrackwillbeawardedtotheopponent.Atfourteenminutesitwillbeannouncedthattheathletehassixtysecondstoreport at his assigned table, or the match will be awarded to his opponent. At fifteenminutes,thematchisawardedtotheopponent.Ifanathleteisnotpresentwithin15minutesfollowingtheofficialannouncementofhis/hermatch,thismatchwillbeforfeited.Shouldthishappeninthewinner’sbracketofadoubleelimination system,he/shewill beplaced in the loser’sbracket.Otherwise suchathlete isdisqualified.Shouldbothathletesinoneandthesamematchinthewinner’sbracketarrivetoolate,bothofthemwillbedisqualifiedsincebothofthemcannotusetheoneandonlyexistingspotintheloser’sbracket.

3.19DressCodeTheWPADressCode, asexplained inTheWPARegulations is valid for allWPAevents. Inaddition to the dress code, all athletes must have the name of the respective nationdisplayed on their shirts. Whenever questioned, the WPA Sports Director will decide ifparticipationwillbeallowed.Ifanathleteisunsureaboutthelegalityofhisdresscode,theathleteshouldapproachtheSDbeforethematchandaskwhetherthedresscodeislegal.Inexceptional circumstances, the SD may permit an athlete to compete in violation of thedresscode.

3.23UnsportsmanlikeConductThe rules and regulations give the referee and other official’s considerable latitude inpenalizingunsportsmanlikeconduct.Severalfactorsshouldbeconsideredinsuchdecisions,includingpreviousconduct,previouswarnings,howserioustheoffenseis,andinformationthattheathletesmayhavebeengivenatthePlayersMeetingatthestartofthetournament.

4.1GeneralregulationsTheseregulationsaretoexplainhowathletesarechosenforparticipationatdifferentWPAsanctionedeventsandtherankingsystem.TheWPAorganizesWorldChampionshipsinthedisciplinesof9-Ball,8-balland10-ball.

EachContinentalAssociationthatisamemberoftheWPAreceivesacertainquotaofspotsfor the categories Men, Women, Boys U17 & U19, Girls and Wheelchair athletes. Thefollowingregulationswilldeterminethenominationsforthesespots.

4.2DistributionofspotsbaseduponquotasTheallocationofthespotsshallbedeterminedaccordingtothefollowingpriority.The WPA ranking will be used as nomination criteria. Based upon an existing contractbetweentheWPAandtheorganizerscertainrulesmustbehonoured.QuotasmaychangeuponagreementoftheWPAGeneralassembly.If possible the spots will be allocated with regards to the membership format in thefollowingpriorityorder:

AmountofthespotswillbedeterminedbythenumberoftheaffiliatesineachCF.ReturningspotsgobacktotheWPAforredistribution.Iftherearenointerestedpartiesforextraspots,thespotswillbeofferedtoOrganisertoholdaqualifierevent.Incasethereareextraspotsleft,thespotswillbeawardedfollowingtheWPArankinglist.The WPA reserves the right to offer entry to any athlete after the draw in the case ofcancellationbyathlete(s)withorwithoutnotice.ThisathletecomesasareservefromtheQualifyingeventpriorthetournament.Noathletewillbeincludedoncethefirstroundhasbeencompleted.

4.3QualifiersTheWPAmay assign spot(s) to other continentalmembers and the organiser in order toholdqualifyingevent(s).Theseeventsmustbeopentoallathletesfromallmemberships.

Whenever spot returns back in the period of late cancellations (See 4.6), within 2weekspriorthestartoftheevent,spotisawardedtonextrankedathletefromtheQualifier.

AllwinnersoftheWPASanctionedeventsinthecategoryBwillhavetheautomaticallyinvitetotheWorldChampionshipinthesamedisciplineinthesamesportseason.

4.6CancellationprocedureCancellation within two weeks prior to the Stage 1 can only be accepted when specialcircumstances occurred. The cancellation will be accepted if the cancellation is send inwritingminimumtwoweeksbeforetheStage1oftheeventtotheSD.

All cancellationswithin twoweeks before the event need a certification fromadoctor orpolicetoavoidthepenaltyfee(Seepoint6.6).TherequesteddocumentsmustbesenttotheSDbeforetheeventstarts.

4.7TypesofEventsTheWPAdifferentiatesbetweenthefollowingevents:• WorldChampionships

An event that is officially sanctioned as a world championship will have the winnerreceive Category 1 ranking points, and recorded as the “WPA World (discipline)Champion(year).

• WorldRankingEvents–Categories1&2Eventsthatmeetthecriteriaofbeingaworldrankingeventwillhaveathletesreceivepointsinaccordancewiththecategoryoftheevent.TheserankingeventsmustbeopentoallathletesofallmemberswhoareingoodstandingwiththeirAssociations.

• SanctionedEventsTheseeventsareorganisedbythirdpartieswheretheeventsmeettherequiredcriteria(refer to Sanctioning Catalogue). Any event that fits the criteria as explained in theSanctioning Catalogue, must apply for sanctioning from the WPA. WPA sanctionedeventsincludetournaments,invitationalevents,teamchallengesetc.

4.8WorldRankingSystemTheWPA Ranking List is the official vehicle for theWPA to identify the best pool-billiardathletes in theworld. The performances of the athletes in eligible events shall have theireffortscreditedandpublishedonourwebsite.Thereshallbeaseparaterankingslistformenandwomen.ItiscomposedfromresultstakenatalleventsdeemedtobewithinthecategoryofRankingEvent.4.8.1AwardingofpointsPointswillbeawardedaccordingtothecategoryofevent.Seepoint3.84.8.2ValidityofPointsAllpoints fromtheWorldRankingeventswillbevalid fromthecompletionofanevent inone year, until the same event is played the following year. If an event is not played, orscheduledtobeplayedthesecondyear,thepointsforthateventshallbecancelledasofthe31stDecemberof theyear theeventwasheld,or fifteenmonthsafter theeventwas lastheld.ForCategory1and2,abonusofpointswillbeaddedwhentheaddedprizemoneyexceeds$150,000forCategory1,and$100,000forCategory2.Thebonusshallbe5%extrapointsfor each $25,000 of added money. Where an event has an entry fee collected by theorganiser, the entry fee total shall be deducted from the total prizemoney amount andbonuspointsawardedonlyfortheactualaddedmoney.

4.8.3RankingEventRequirementsCurrently there are three categories of Ranking Events, and points are adjusted for eachcategory.

Category1-WorldChampionshipsCategory 1 carries the maximum amount of points. World championships for men andwomenmusthaveafieldsizeofnolessthan32.Forallthefollowing:BoysU17&U19,girls,seniors,andwheelchairathletes,thefieldsizemustnotbelessthan16.

Category2These events formen or womenmust have aminimum number of 32 athletes. Entry tothese tournaments must be available to all members and their athletes. Prize money totheseeventsrequiresaddedfundsofnolessthanUSD75,000.

5.1WPASportsDirectorThe WPA Sports Director or his appointed deputy will be present on all WorldChampionshipssupervisingtheeventwithregardstosportiveaspects.

5.2TournamentDirectorTournamentDirector inchargeof theWC’sandWPArankingeventsmustbeapprovedbytheWPA Board. There must be one Tournament Director for theWC. The TournamentDirectorwillmakethefinalrulingforanydisputesonrulesofplay.

5.3HeadRefereeEach Continental Association should appoint at least one Head referee forWPA disposal.TheserefereesmustperformathighestlevelandbeactiveHeadRefereeswithinCF.TheremustbeoneappointedHeadRefereefortheWC’sandWPArankingevents.ThisHeadrefereemustbeapprovedbytheWPA.

5.4RefereesThe WPA will structure or recognize a referee program in each continent. Referees canundergo an examination conducted by the WPA Sports Director and the successfulapplicantswillbeendorsedwithacertificateidentifyingthemasaqualifiedIntercontinentalReferee.

5.5TournamentRefereesTheOrganizerisresponsibleforasufficientnumberofrefereesonsite.Theorganizermust,atalltimeshaveatleastone(1)HRforthetournament,inaddition1refereeforamaximumof two (2) tables with substitutes should be present. The referees are responsible forappointedtablesatalltimes.Only highest level of referees within the CF should be invited onWC’s andWPA rankedevents.

5.6InternationalRefereesTheWPAwillencourage itsmemberstosendrefereestoofficiateattheWPAevents.Thecostsforsendingtherefereesshallbesharedasfollows:

• Travelcostscoveredbythecontinentalmemberfromwhererefereeresides• AccommodationtobepaidbytheWPAonatwinsharebasis• DailyAllowancetobepaidbytheOrganizer.

6.1.CodeofConductHaving a positive image of theWPA and of its events is a valuable asset and is bringingadvantagesforallathletesandmembersoftheWPA.Baseduponthis,itisthedutyofeachsingleindividualtorefrainfromunnecessaryattacksonsponsors,otherathletes,ortheWPAwheneveraddressing representativesof themedia.Responsibleexplanationsof legitimateandunsatisfyingconditionsarenotforbidden,butshouldnotbemadeinsuchafashionthatmaycauseharmtotheWPA,thefinancialinterestsofasponsor,ortheoverallimageofthesport.Allathletesmustactandbehaveatalltimesinthebestinterestsofthesportthatistobeexpectedofaprofessional.Anathletewillrefrainfrommakingpubliccommentsthatcouldbedeemedasbringingthesportintodisrepute.Ifanathletefailstoactproperly,he/shewillbedealtwithinaccordancewiththeserules.Anyathletewho isdisqualified fromaneventwill forfeitanypointsawardedandallprizemoney, which will be held at the WPA Treasury. Offences and penalties are listed inparagraph6.6oftheSportsRegulations.

6.2ImposingofPenaltyAction is taken against all violations of the Code of conduct as soon as they are beingdetected. TheWPA is to be informed immediately when an athlete in an event is beingofferedmoneyorpresents.Athletesparticipatinginaneventarenotallowedtoenterintoanybettingwithregardstotheoutcomeofit.

6.3ProtestprocedureIfanathletewantstoprotestagainstareferee’sdecision,he/shemaydosorightaftertheincidentoccurred.PlaymustbestoppedandtherefereewillcontacttheHeadRefereeforhisdecision.IftheathletewantstoprotestagainsttheHR’sdecision,amoneyguaranteeof100,US$mustbegiven to theHR.Hewill then contact theWPATournamentDirectorassoonaspossible. TheWPATournamentDirectorwill findadecisionbyallmeanshe feelsappropriate.IftheSportsDirectoragreeswiththeathlete,the100,-US$willberefunded.Otherwise,themoneywillstaywiththeWPATreasurer.TheWPATournamentDirectormayonlybeasked for judgment if all othermeanshavebeencontacted first.Against the finaldecisionthereisnorecourse,andthequestionedmatchhastocontinueasdecided.

6.4‘Outsidethematch’offencesAthleteswhoreceiveapenaltyforoffencesbetweenmatches,aftermatchesorduringtheevent,havetherighttosubmitanapplicationtotheBoardwithin14daysafterreceivingthepenalty.

6.5TherighttoprotestagainstthedecisionmadebytheBoardAn Athlete has the right to appeal any decision made by the WPA Board or its officersthroughtheWPACourtofarbitration.

7.1Codeonthepreventionofthemanipulationofcompetitions It is a non-negotiable requirement of an athlete to abide by Code of Prevention of theManipulationofCompetitionsaccordingtotheRulesoftheIOC.TheWPAiscommittedtocombatallformsofcheatingandshallundertakeallthenecessarymeasurestoensuretheintegrityofsportscompetitions.

ParticipantsintheWPAeventsshallnot,byanymannerwhatsoever,infringetheprincipleoffair play, show unsporting conduct or attempt to influence the course or result of acompetition,oranypartthereof,inamannercontrarytosportingethics.

AppropriateauthoritiesatanyWPAsanctionedeventmaysuspendanathletewherethereisarisktothereputationofthesport.It is the ultimate responsibility of the athlete to ensure that he abides the Code on thePreventionoftheManipulationofCompetitions.

2. I consent and agree to comply with and be bound by all of the provisions of theWCBSAnti-DopingRules, including,butnot limitedto,allamendments totheAnti-DopingRulesandallInternationalStandardsincorporatedintheAnti-DopingRules.

I consentandagree to thecreationofmyprofile inWADADopingcontrolClearingHouse (ADAMS) and/or any other authorized National Anti-Doping Organizations(NADOS)similarsystemunderWCBS’sagreementforthesharingofinformation,andto the entry onmydoping control and TherapeuticUse Exemption relateddata insuchsystems.

4. I acknowledge and agree that the WCBS and its member Associations havejurisdictiontoimposesanctionsasprovidedintheWCBSAnti-DopingRules.

5. I also acknowledge and agree that any dispute arising out of a decision madepursuant to theWCBSAnti-DopingRules,afterexhaustionof theprocessexpresslyprovided for inArticle 13 of theWCBSAnti-Doping Rules to an appellate body forfinalandbindingarbitration,whichinthecaseofInternational-LevelAthletesistheCourtofArbitrationforSport.

6. Iacknowledgeandagreethatthedecisionsofthearbitralappellatebodyreferencedabove shall be final andenforceable, and thatwill notbringany claim,arbitration,lawsuitorlitigationinanyothercourtortribunal.

7. I am aware that I may be requested to undergo a drug test at any event that issanctionedbytheWPA,andthatIagreetofullycomplywithsuchrequests.

2. IconsentandagreetocomplywithandbeboundbyalloftheprovisionsoftheIOCCode on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions, including, but notlimitedto,allamendmentsandallInternationalStandardsincorporatedintheCode.

3. IacknowledgeandagreethattheIOCanditsmemberAssociationshavejurisdictionto impose sanctions as provided in the IOC Code on the Prevention of theManipulationofCompetitions.
