What is AUTOMOTIVE WORLD? BtoB Show Consisting of 6 Specialised Fairs
AUTOMOTIVE WORLD was launched in 2009 and 2018 edition was its 10th anniversary. This BtoB show is composed of 6 fairs including newly-launched “1st Autonomous Driving Technology Expo”. The other shows are gathering technologies for car electronics, EV/HEV, lightweight, connected cars, and parts processing. Enlarging Its Size Every Year
The number of exhibitor is increasing every year. 2018 show gathered a record number of 1,063 exhibitors from across the world such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippine, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, US, Vietnam, etc.

Scenes from Exhibition Hall In addition to 39,922 visitors of AUTOMOTIVE WORLD, visitors of the concurrent shows (114,380 visitors in total) also came to see the exhibitors and had serious business meetings onsite. All the aisles and booths in the hall was full of people who were looking for new technologies, products, and business partners throughout 3 days show period.

10th AUTOMOTIVE WORLD grandly opened with an unprecedented ribbon-cutting ceremony. 40 top executives of global major automakers and component manufacturers such as HONDA MOTOR, MAZDA MOTOR, MITSUBISHI MOTORS, NISSAN MOTOR, CHINA FAW, DAIMLER, GENERAL MOTORS , GREAT WALL JAPAN MOTOR, HYUNDAI MOTOR JAPAN, VOLKSWAGEN GROUP, etc. took part in it as ribbon-cutting dignitaries.

Next Shows’ Schedule AUTOMOTIVE WORLD has been an annual event held in Tokyo. However from 2018, the show will be held TWICE a year in January and September. In September, the show will be held in Nagoya for the first time. Nagoya is a prefectural capital of Aichi prefecture where Toyota has their headquarter, and many manufacturers related to automobiles have their offices and factories.
