Improved machinability grades (Ugima®) that reduce part costs by boosting productivity. Stainless steels with low Nickel and Molybdenum contents to compensate for the high cost of raw materials.Electroslag remelted (ESR) grades with improved properties for cutting edge applications.And more products to come... BarsUGITECH manufactures and sells stainless steel billets and bars, offering you a complete, constantly evolving range.

UgistartThe Ugistart products are Ugitech's entry range to meet standard needs. They are available in 2 grades (1.4307, 1.4404), for common diameters, delivered ex-works (1T minimum).

Ugi®The Ugi grades offer all possible options in terms of grade, diameter, end finishing, and quantity. They are available ex-works or ex-stock.

Ugima®

Our range of improved machinability grades recognized by users. This process allows unparalleled cutting conditions and tool wear levels without affecting the intrinsic properties of the grades. We offer 40 grades in a Ugima version.

Ugima HM®

The new generation of Ugima that gives an additional boost to the productivity of grades 1.4305,1.4404, and 1.4307.

Ugigrip®

A complete range of products used for concrete rebars. These stainless steel rebars are the solution to the problems encountered today in building and construction. They guarantee safety, durability, reduced maintenance costs and improved living conditions.

UgichromUgichrom combines the high efficiency of micro fissuring chromium plating with the technology of Ugitech's most advanced bars. For our customers, this guaranteed zero-defect solution is indispensable for many cutting edge applications (offshore, nuclear, wind power, aeronautics, etc.).

UgiplexAn excellent compromise between corrosion resistance and the mechanical properties of the austeno-ferritic grades (Duplex). With this product line, we offer our customers economical alternatives to austenitic steels (1.4362, 1.4460).

Ugipure®

Obtained with the ESR process, these stainless refractory products with improved cleanliness and structure respond to the strictest requirements of high-tech industries.

Wire rod and drawn wireUGITECH manufactures and sells stainless steel wire rod and drawn wire, offering you a complete range that is constantly evolving.

Annealed pickled wire rod 5.5 to 32 mm 12.4 to 28 mm

1000 kg coils with several types of finishing: coated, shaved, etc. A wide range of ferritic, martensitic, austenitic and duplex grades designed for our customers' different activities: wire and bar drawing, cold heading, and the manufacturing of cutlery and a wide variety of parts: screws, welding wire, springs, etc.

Stainless and alloy drawn wire Wires: 13 microns to 18 mm (coils, spools, baskets, reels).

Profiles: 1 to 60 mm² (coils, reels, straightened products) To meet all of your needs: A wide range of cold transformed products made of stainless or alloys.

More economical grades (ferritic, low nickel, duplex), for welding (F1 exhaust), screws (201 Cu) or metal items (Steadinox® and 1.4362). Other specific grades for more severe constraints: Sprinox® and X750 for spring wire, A286 for high temperature bolts, 52N+, 1.4462, 825, and 625 for corrosion resistance especially in off-shore environments.

Markets and Certification Ugitech is active in a wide variety of markets. 80% of our sales are made in 4 especially demanding ones.

Industries and ProcessOur wide range of grades and certifications (ISO 9001, TÜV PED 97/23/CE, TÜV W0/TRD 100, Norsok MDS D47) allows us to respond to the demands of customers in this market. Our products are used to manufacture valves, pumps, fittings, filters and flanges, and to weld mechanically-welded assemblies.

AutomotiveOur ISO TS certification, the installation performances of our products, and our partnerships with OEM's have made Ugitech the leading manufacturer in this market. Ugitech products are used in injection, braking and exhaust systems as well as in many other safety parts.

Building - ConstructionThe variety of products offered (from fine wire to rebars) is a real asset in this market.Long stainless products are used for decoration (woven mesh, door handles, fasteners, etc.) and in structures (stainless rebars). Our products comply with the NF XP 35-014 and BS 644 standards, and we have also received the CARES certification.

Water treatment and food processingUgitech is able to propose economical solutions to customers that fully meet the requirements of these markets. Seawater desalination, water supply and water treatment facilities all require the use of stainless steel, as does the food processing industry, where hygiene standards are extremely strict.

UGITECH has also developed specific solutions for the watchmaking, cutlery and medical industries.
