I like the close up used on the dolly’s face this is also similar to the plot being

used in our story because a baby gets stumbled upon in the woods.

I like the use of these two props (monkey and clown) because they are strange and

give the movie an effect of discomfort especially the toy clown because some

children have fear of them because of their heavy dark make up and wide scary grin

in contrast to their pale ghost like make up.

I like the establishing shot used to reflect the time period this movie is set which is Victorian. The

mise en scene shows overgrown grass and broken gates. This connotes that this house has been

abandoned and ancient. The broken fence could also suggest people fleeing or escaping from the

house and the house itself could represent danger-evil spirits, ghost etc.

I like the typography used for the title of the movie shown against a rainy window its connotes

DARKNESS, DEPRESSION,,MISERY and FRUSTRATION.

I like the way the use of natural light shows some of the props that the audience takes more notice

of such as the photograph and table. The use of an accent light which in this is a dim lit candle shows

the contrast of the dark staircase, and chandeliers and the light table cloth material down below.

This could hint to the audience that the unknown is upstairs.

I LIKE THE IDEA OF THE ACTOR DANIEL RADCLIFFES DARK SUIT IN CONTRAST WITH THE MISTY AREA

SURROUNDING HIM WHICH MAKES HIM STAND OUT.

I like the close up of a foot stepping on the head of the dolly , Again this is similar to my groups idea

of showing extreme close-ups and close ups of when the character in our opening scene stumbles

across the baby.

I like the use of limited darkness in this room and gradually bringing some light into the room. It

gives a good effect of a spirit entering/flooding through the house. I also like the use of ACCENT

LIGHT-(Candles) which gives it a warm but also eerie effect which keeps the audience on guard.
