The Biggest Cash Robberyin BritainFebruary 22, 2006

On this day in history, a bunch of movie inspired ‘gangsters’ decided they were tired of the struggle and executed the largest cash robbery in British history. They tied up several people, abducted and threatened the family of the manager and stole £53,116,760 in bank notes from Securitas Cash Management Ltd in Vale Road, Tonbridge, Kent. To think we only see these things in movies...

Earth, meet Steve Jobs.February 24, 1955

‘iKnow’ this is a historic day! This adopted boy from a humble background grew up to become the world’s most successful CEO of our time, presiding over the development of the Mac, the game changing iPhone and the revolutionary iPad. Apple, under Jobs’ reign, became the most valuable company of all time. His birthday is now celebrated by the company as Steve Jobs Day. What’s your favourite Apple product?

Let Me See Your Tootsie RollFebruary 23, 1896

When Austrian-born confectioner Leo Hirshfield named the iconic chewy chocolate candy after his five-year-old daughter, Clara, affectionately called ‘Tootsie,’ little did he know he was creating an empire. The candy quickly became a customer favorite and propelled Hirshfield’s modest corner store into a nation-wide enterprise that is now a multinational corporation, Tootsie Roll Industries. Today, Tootsie Rolls are available in eight popular sizes and varieties: Midgees, Mini-Midgees, 5-Cent, 10-Cent, 20-Cent, Giant Bar, Count Good Bag, and Snack Bar.

what do you do?I am officially a recording artiste/songwriter/performer/entertainer/artist in most aspects of the word, because I draw as well. I love being really artsy.

what was your best weekend ever?We (Jade, my manager and I) have this thing, we call it Fuck-Off Fridays. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a Friday, but it’s just a day where we do no work whatsoever and we just take the day and do whatever we want. So one Friday, we went to Negril and came back on Sunday and it was pretty cool. We stayed at Sunset on the Beach and we tanned, we walked up and down on the beach, we rode little scooters. The only thing we didn’t do was jet-ski, ’cause I’m not an A-grade swimmer and I’m not trying to kill off myself.

what’s it been like filming Mywknd on wkndrTv?I’ve loved it! I’ve always wanted to do something like this, a whole reality thing. I want to start my own reality show. I haven’t solidified any topics, so I don’t know what it would be like. Jade and I, we’re like best friends and we have eventful lives. Sometimes I don’t know if the things that happen to us happen to other people; it’s crazy.
