Gorton Community Center is lucky to have supporters such as Elyse and Peter Butler. The Butler family members are familiar faces at Gorton as they come to the movies, are Safety Town alums, attended children’s programs and take advantage of the Drop-In Learning Center. As Elyse states, “Gorton provides so many unique offerings to our community. The Drop-In Learning Center has been invaluable to our family in providing excellent, friendly childcare we can

rely on whether it’s a standing reservation or a last minute emergency -- my kids are always asking when do they get to go back! We have also enjoyed experiencing the Children’s Facets Film Festival with our daughters. It’s wonderful to have cultural events typical of an urban setting available to us minutes from our suburban home.”
