Selling your greatest asset must not be taken lightly. You have to ensure that you’re hiring the right Real Estate Agent to do the job. In today’s day and age, online marketing is crucial to connect with the largest group of prospective buyers to ensure a quick sale and higher selling price.

Two things to consider when interviewing an agent include; one, ask the agent for samples of previous or active listings to see how well presented they are. How many and what quality photos are used? Is there a video, a basic slide show or neither? Is there a quality brochure or just a printout of the MLS listing?; And two, find out how active they are on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram. Four out of the last five homes sold by The Kormendy Trott Team were sold to buyers who initially saw the property on their Facebook page. Make sure that not only is the agent active on social media, but that they provide paid advertising to promote your home through social media.

The key is to ask yourself, “Is this the marketing plan that will get my home sold quick and for top dollar?”
