About The Wellness InitiativeThe mission of The Wellness Initiative is to improve the physical health, social and emotional development, and academic performance of low-income youth through yoga-based wellness programs.

This year we are serving: 2,300 students 37 schools 6 counties

Impact on participants: 70% report improved strength 50% report an increase in self-

confidence 50% report a reduction in stress 50% report practicing yoga outside

of the classroom 50% report improved concentration 40% report an improvement in

completing homework on time
