This is the 5th year T.A. Nor-ris has hosted our annual tournament in memory of a loving student, Tyler Den-ison, who passed away when he was in grade 8 attending our Middle School. T.A. Nor-ris had both boys and girls A teams playing in the tourna-ment and also had the B team playing grade 8 and 9 teams! At the end of the

weekend our boys came home with the gold and the A girls with a bronze! They are the first T.A. Norris teams to ever bring home a medal from this tournament! To sum it up you can just say this was a great way to start off the season for our volleyball teams!

Borderlands 2

Beast boy & Shawn boy cow

By Lane Vig

Borderlands 2 the sequel to Borderlands the one of the most beautiful games of all time written. In the first game you

were treasure hunter looking for something called the vault with alien technology. In this second action packed adventure

you’re a player fighting to the death to win a priceless cache of loot in a gladiatorial tournament run by Handsome Jack for

his personal amusement. The player succeeds and gains notoriety, but Handsome Jack sees this as a threat to his popularity

with the people. At the tournament's end he denies the reward and leaves the player for dead in a tundra. The mysterious

Guardian Angel from the first game then contacts the player and explains that Handsome Jack must be killed, directing the

player to rescue the four original vault hunters from Hyperion's clutches to accomplish this. Although Jack's full intentions

are unknown, part of his plan involves finding an ancient evil named "The Warrior" that is located somewhere on Pandora.

So it’s a new year and there many changes. But first let’s talk about school and its staff.

Firstly, we have a new vice principal. Mr. Clements. He teaches 7/8 C science and math as well as

standing in for Mrs. Sharpe’s homeroom on day’s 3 and 6. He used to be a professional life guard, a reporter,

and many other things before becoming a principal in the North West Territories.

Next are the bus doors. They have been enlarged (by destroying Mr. Biggs office…) to accommodate

more shoes, people, and anything else that you might find in a room made for BOOTS.

Now (probably the best change ever made) we get to the en-rely changed bathrooms! Tiled, new

stalls and shiny chrome sinks. No more of that dirty, disgus-ng room no one even uses except to wash off

glue.

Finally we hit the updated laptops! As we all know, the previous ones were a huge failure. They die

every ten minutes and lack the required compu-ng power to complete most tasks. These new ones are VERY

expensive so if you ever need to smash a computer, find the nearest netbook instead, or pay more money

than you would like. Please take care of them so they do not turn up like our older ones.

As for the rest of our school not much is new other than teachers switching places.

To the grade fivers welcome aboard! Enjoy our school!
