18. If you would like to donate new handmade or store-bought items, make up a theme

Memorial Garden - Book of Remembrance As our Memorial Garden has taken shape and come into use, the plan has been to mark the names of our loved ones whose remains rest in the garden with both a Memorial Book in the Gathering Area near the doors leading to the garden. While work is still ongoing for the stone, we invite you to stop in the sanctuary overflow space by the windows overlooking the garden to find the new Memorial Book - and to give thanks for the lives and witness of these brothers and sisters in faith!

Grain of Rice Project is a non-profit ministry, which seeks to empower Kenyan people with the love of Christ by helping them

become self-sufficient through employment, education, and skills training, focusing on the Kibera slum, where there is no running water and many of the 235,000 residents survive on less than $1 a day. Although we cannot change all of Kibera, we strive to do small things to empower people that will add up to make a big difference in their lives and will in turn spill over and make a difference in the lives of others around them. Join us in tipping the scale.
