A Note from our Pastor…. If there is a word that is not found in the Old Testament, but describes the dominate feeling of every page, it would be “anticipation”. From Creation onward there is an anticipation that God is going to act on behalf of His fallen creation. Each of the characters in one way or other points to the salvation of God in the future. God is going to break into the flow of history and change the trajectory of His people. This anticipation is the place of hope. Even when the situation looked bleak, people of faith couldn’t help but approach life with hope. God was there. God had their backs. God was going to act. Sometimes we're surprised when He moves like the Shepherds and other times we celebrate His moving when we see it unfolding, like the Angels. This week we'll be looking at the Shepherds. On a different note, we will most likely be in the Chapel again. Work continues on the heating system in the Worship Center and at this time the weather looks to be turning cooler as the week progresses. How's your "day with God leading" going? Pastor George
