Speaking of grand events our PTO also just
sponsored our celebration of 60 years at PVPV
Everyone was so happy to see each other and we
honored those who helped build the foundation of our
excellence in education We had several original
class members there from the first grade class of

Harper Knarr From Mrs Osburnrsquos 1st grade class Harperrsquos neighbor recently passed away from cancer Harper has been
going over to check on the neighborrsquos wife and taking treats drawings hugs or anything to cheer her up Harperrsquos family will
miss their neighbor forever but they are happy to continue their friendship with his wife

Jackson Anderson From Mrs Clarkrsquos 3rd grade class Jackson sat next to a kid when the student had nobody to talk to
Charlie Stephens From Mrs Rosbergrsquos 4th grade class Charlie did a lemonade stand with his sister and his neighbor to
raise money for the Wolfson Childrenrsquos Hospital They raised $3600 and used the money to buy toys and dropped them off
at Christmas
Chase Olitsky From Ms Gardrsquos 5th grade class Chase saw a turtle walking in the road and he stopped and helped it cross
the road

Last week our students participated in the Kids Heart Challenge It was a
huge success with our students raising more than $9000 for the American
Heart Associationhellipway to go Over the last four weeks our students
participated in activities that focused on increasing their heart rate and
learned about eating healthy taking care of their bodies and most
importantly helping others Thank you to all those who gave generously to
support our event and the American Heart Association

to students until 810 am If your child is in
Extended Day heshe can be dropped off at the side
door to PVPV Cafeteria beginning at 700 am
Otherwise please do not drop your student off
before 810 am For student safety at PVPV (K-2nd
grade) if your child is late to school (after 830) you
must park and walk your child into the building and
sign them in at the front office Also transportation
changes and early pick ups must be made by 200
pm (1 pm on Wednesday) Thank you for your
cooperation
It is cold and flu season Hand washing is KEY Additionally
please keep sick children home School policy remains the same
for fevers ndash a child may return to school after a fever if they have
been 24 hours fever-free without fever reducing medication Any

Last week our students participated in the Kids Heart Challenge It was a
huge success with our students raising more than $9000 for the American
Heart Associationhellipway to go Over the last four weeks our students
participated in activities that focused on increasing their heart rate and
learned about eating healthy taking care of their bodies and most
importantly helping others Thank you to all those who gave generously to
support our event and the American Heart Association

Last week our students participated in the Kids Heart Challenge It was a
huge success with our students raising more than $9000 for the American
Heart Associationhellipway to go Over the last four weeks our students
participated in activities that focused on increasing their heart rate and
learned about eating healthy taking care of their bodies and most
importantly helping others Thank you to all those who gave generously to
support our event and the American Heart Association

huge success with our students raising more than $9000 for the American
Heart Associationhellipway to go Over the last four weeks our students
participated in activities that focused on increasing their heart rate and
learned about eating healthy taking care of their bodies and most
importantly helping others Thank you to all those who gave generously to

Last week our students participated in the Kids Heart Challenge It was a
huge success with our students raising more than $9000 for the American
Heart Associationhellipway to go Over the last four weeks our students
participated in activities that focused on increasing their heart rate and
learned about eating healthy taking care of their bodies and most
importantly helping others Thank you to all those who gave generously to
support our event and the American Heart Association

Last week our students participated in the Kids Heart Challenge It was a
huge success with our students raising more than $9000 for the American
Heart Associationhellipway to go Over the last four weeks our students
participated in activities that focused on increasing their heart rate and
learned about eating healthy taking care of their bodies and most
importantly helping others Thank you to all those who gave generously to
support our event and the American Heart Association
