The city of Jerusalem is located in theJudean Mountains between Mount Scopusand the Mount of Olives and it consists ofthe‘OldCity’(thebiblicalcitywe’refamiliarwith)withmoderndayJerusalemcroppingupallaround.
The ‘Old City’ is surrounded by wallsthousands of years old designed to protectthecityfromenemieswho’vebesiegedJeru-salemthroughoutitshistoryandamorningrunaroundthesewallsquicklybecameoneofourfavorites.

During our time there we actually wenttoabeerfest(imaginethat,wefoundabeer-fest)inavillageoutsideofJerusaleminthearea loosely referred to as Palestine in thevillage of Taybeh. To our surprise the beerwas incredibly delicious; to our dismay wecouldonlyenjoyitinIsraelbecausethePal-

Danny Haralson, overlooking Jerusalem during a recent trip with his wife, Micki. The golden domed building is one of the holiest sites in Islam and Judaism dating back to the Second Temple of Solomon commonly known in our world as ‘The Temple Mount’ though today it is controlled be Muslims and Jews are not allowed access.

Unfortunately you always have mem-bers who just don’t have that sense ofduty, they see things differently, andthat’sjustthewaytheworldturns.
Every 5 years or so we also have an-otherissuethatraisesitsheadandmanybecome victims of misinformation or(worse)anextremelymyopicviewpoint.
