Th e plans call for identifying areas where thinning of vegetation is required and the manner upon how and by whom thinning will be performed.

Co-op staff will identify areas where vegetation management is necessary. Time and cost allow-ances shall be made available to use company and contracted crews to complete this work.

Recording and maintaining work completed will be represented by vegetation management mapping and company records.

Implementation of the plan shall result in decreased outages, reduction in system line loss, and serve to mitigate company liability when incidents related to power lines are involved.
