Yesterday at school, the "6ème" and "5ème" classes attended a concert by "Sextuor

Piazzolla" from Dijon. It is called a « sextet » because it is composed of six musicians.

They play different musical instruments : the violin (1), the cello (2), the double bass

(3), the viola (4) and the bandoneon (5). They play tango music from the city of Buenos

Aires in Argentina like « Five tango sensations: Asleep (6) – Loving (7) – Anxiety (8) –

Despertar ( = awakening ) (9) – Fear (10) » by the composer Astor Piazzolla.

Ismaël thought that the artists were very expressive. Ethan and Pauline added that at

one point, the bandoneon player looked so sad that it was as if he was going to cry. Nathan

said that he learned things about the migrations of instruments. Jules liked the concert

because the music was varied. Noah thought it was very interesting because they could ask

many questions at the end.
