From Dameon and Leonie, Baron and Baroness of Aneala, to the populace of Aneala, greetings.

What a busy month this has been. Dameon has travelled to Pennsic, where he represented Lochac in the Rapier Champions' Tournament, imbibed much gin, and thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Leonie attended and competed in the Golden Thimble Challenge. Complete sets of garb were made by three teams, in English 14th, Burgundian 15th and English 16th Century style. The winner was the Elizabethan team of Baroness Leonie, Lady Elizabeth Severn, and our model Anna Headon. Well done to all teams for an amazing amount of hard work over 22 hours, and to the steward, Mistress Branwen, and Master Kilic. for keeping us all on track and well-fed.

Then, to end the month, we were graced with the presence of their Majesties Steffan and Branwen, who attended the Bal d'Aneala and the Baroness's Fighter Auction.

The Bal was great fun, and at his Majesty's request, included the first (and possibly the last) performance of the Noodle dance. Congratulations to Lady Avalon of the Isles, the new Bard of Aneala, who delighted us with her song about the trials of sewing. Congratulations also to those who received awards from the hands of their Majesties:Order of the Pelican: Lucia Delli Fenice Award of Arms: Issac Underwode Award of Arms: Rylan Oke Star & Lily: Anne of Gyllingeham Rowan: Elizabeth Rowe

The following day we gathered in Hyde Park, for the Baroness's Fighter Auction. The fighters were anonymously auctioned, by his Majesty and the Baroness, and identified only as a mythical beast. Lord Loki, newly returned to Aneala and identified as Ratatoskr, the Squirrel who lives in Ygdrysil, won the armoured tourney, while Baron Dameon, identified as the Djinn, won the Rapier tourney. Thanks to all those who fought, bought fighters, or donated prizes.Congratulations to those whom their Majesties honoured with awards that day:Augmentation of Arms: Nathan Blacktower Rowan: Dino de MaltaRowan: Dameon GreybeardRowan: Leonie de Grey Golden Poyntel: Catherine d'ArcGolden Poyntel: llaria de ValeGolden Poyntel: Konrad HilderbrandtGolden Poyntel: Kilic ibn SungarGolden Poyntel: Anne of GillinghamGolden Poyntel: Sorcha inghean Uí Bhradagáin
