The Village at Lyons is located on the lush grounds of Lyons Estate,

alongside the Grand Canal less than twenty minutes from Dublin. The

stunning surroundings make for a truly unique location for a wedding

reception.

The Mill is a spectacular double height space with seating capacity for up to

180 guests. The room’s panelled walls are complimented by rich tapestries,

offset by a soft and relaxing palette of neutral shades, while the dramatic

17th century fireplace and soothing sounds of the waterfall add to the

uniqueness of the room.

The courtyard features a stunning dovecot - home to four pairs of white

doves, adding to that extra special fairytale element to a bride and grooms

big day. For the high flyers out there, helicopter landing facilities are

available on site, it is also possible to hold civil ceremonies Monday to Friday

on the grounds themselves.

has its own sitting room, one Guest Suite along with a classically styled

rustic interior and four poster bed.

Village Suites

Featuring magnificent dual aspect lake and garden views, elaborate four

poster beds and deluxe en-suite bathrooms with rain head showers. Our

guests may also enjoy in-room mini bar, tea and coffee and complimentary

The Village at Lyons Cookery School

With group work stations, the school is state of the art and guests will enjoy

intimate hands-on cookery classes. With small class numbers, everyone will

get to actively prepare and cook alongside our chef.

We offer hands on classes for up to 25 guests and our demo class can

facilitate 45 guests. Why not combine your class or event with lunch or a

supper in The Canal Café. The Cookery School offers an extensive range

of cookery classes covering everything from classic French cooking to Tapas

and BBQ’s. The school has seen courses run by many guest celebrity chefs.

Designed to appeal to all ages from children to grand-parents, The Village

at Lyons Cookery School has something for everyone, from the novice to

the more experienced cook.

With its Turner designed conservatory, La Serre provides an informal and

relaxed setting for lunch and dinner. The glorious courtyard allows for

outdoor dining in summertime.

The Canal Café is located within the courtyard close to the banks of the

Grand Canal. The French styled café offers tempting treats as well as picnic

options for those that wish to stroll along the canal.
