Student Ministry Update: HOWDY CHURCH FAMILY! This is my last time saying that as your Student Ministries Pastor. And what an honor and joy it’s been to serve the Church here in Silsbee, Texas in this capacity. For this opportunity, I can’t say thank you enough to God, and then to you. I hope I have forged lasting relationships, I hope I have made Jesus known in a greater sense; I hope I have further equipped His disciples, and I hope I have inspired people to never stop chasing after Him. I’m so grateful for every interaction to live the world-changing love of Jesus with our students, with others, in the church, in the schools, in the community, and in this world that this season of life has afforded me. But there’s so much left undone. So I look forward to seeing the newness and life heading this way shine out and light up this world for Jesus. I pray you continue striving for Christ, bringing world-changing transformation. I pray that above all else, you guard your heart against selfishness and “me”, and that you see this world as Jesus does. And I pray that when you see brokenness in this world, you feel it. And that feeling leads to compassion, and that compassion always means action. I pray you find your identity in Jesus only, and that you seize hold of your purpose found in Him. And I pray that your heart beats alongside Jesus’, overflowing into the world around you. I pray you run into the days ahead with unrelenting pursuit of the One who made you on purpose, with a purpose. Our time here as your student ministry team is done as Tori and I move on to the next season of life. But of this church, this student ministry, and this life, the best days are yet to come. So go live life to the fullest. Go with Grace and Truth. Love God, and love people.

Ever in His Love, James

18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:18-19

2017-18 Tiger School Box campaign Through the Christian Care Center, we are trying to supply about 1100 students with basic school supplies costing $12-$15 per student. We are seeking donations to the Tiger School Box fund during the month of June and early July in order to use bulk supply purchasing. If you’d like to donate, please do so through our church or directly to the Christian Care Center. Information is available on our website, Facebook, and our church bulletin board.
