For maximum efficiency from your chimney use the rear burners of your cook top/hobTurn on the chimney as soon as you start cooking & keep it running for a few minutes afterthe cooking. Regular maintenance & cleaning will enhance the life of the product & will ensure the good performance.

It's advisable to call qualified & authorized Service person for periodically cleaning the internal assembly; same would greatly improve the performance of the product.

Note- if due to any reason if you don't use the chimney, oil/fat may deposed on the filter & surface of the chimney it may start dripping & can cause the fire alsoNote: - before carrying out the maintenance cleaning or replacing the lamp, disconnect thechimney from the main supply (remove the plug from the socket.)

Re-circulation Mode

Check that activated charcoal filters are fitted properly, so that the impurities canbe effectively absorbed.

The chimney has to be operated at the second or lowest speed so that sufficient time is available for the filtration of the air. (Never use high speed) The activated charcoal filters can't be re-used & needs periodical change. The life of the activated charcoal filters are about 3 to 4 months. However if the chimney is used more than 4 hours a day & large amount of oil is used while cooking then filters may require more frequent replacement.*The charcoal filters have to be changed as soon as they are saturated. They can be easily replaced by turning them anti clockwise for removing & clockwise to refit them or by using screw driver to unscrew them for removing them & screwing them to tighten. (Depending on the models)*Applicable for the models which can be installed in the recirculation mode.

NOTE:IN SOFT TOUCH CONTROL,PUSH THE BUTTON AGAIN WILL STOP THE MOTOR .

Hang the entire chimney onto the two expanding screws, ensure the chimney is level and vertical.
