BSc Basic curriculum requirements

Minimum 180 credits (30 6-credit courses) over three years:

• 12 courses (72 crs) for the major including experiential learning requirement#

• Four 3-credit courses (12 crs) for fulfilling university language and broadening requirements

• 2 Science Faculty electives (12 crs)

• 14 elective courses or courses leading to a minor or second major (84 crs)

# experiential learning requirements may be in the form of exchange study, overseas field courses, internship, research project, dissertation or professional preparation programme

Minimum Faculty Admission Requirements

Admission Interview 　 Interview is an important process; interview

performance will be counted (5%) towards admissions

Suitable candidates may be invited to attend interviews (generally those in Band A)

Applicants will be assessed on areas such as communication skill, logical thinking, analytical skill, motivation and attitude
