What We Do

Connecting Students to Research• Peer Networking Liaison (PNL)

• The PNL is a student currently conducting research who has agreed to be a representative for his/her lab (with mentor’s permission)

• We track PNLs and their areas of research focus• When a student comes to UConnect expressing an interest

in a particular area, we see if we have a PNL with whom we can connect the student

• The PNL can mentor the student, explain what working in that area is like, and connect the student to potential opportunities
