Do you know some features of a Tyrannosaurus? It has a large body but it has short arms. It has a pointed tail and teeth the size of bananas! It can range from 40-46 feet long. It was 14,000 pounds. That is 6.3 kilograms. It was 16-18 feet tall. That is 5 people tall exactly. Scientists once thought tyrannosaurus walked very slowly. Scientists now believe a T.Rex could run very fast. The life of a T.Rex was rough. The Tyrannosaurus might seem like an animal you would want to be, being the king of the meat eaters, but a T.Rex had predators. An allosaurus and even plant eaters will attack if a T.Rex bothers them enough even other T.Rex! With a Tyrannosaurus it will eat any thing it can sink its teeth into. It lived in the late Cretaceous period. That was from 65-85 million years ago. It lived in Canada and the United States. We know this because paleontologists found fossils there. Most dinosaurs eyes didn't face exactly forward but a Tyrannosaurus had eyes that were exactly straight. With that ability it can see 566 meters out.
