KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FAMILY CORNER: Fully Alive and Building the Domestic Church

DECEMBER — JOY When a loving person can do good for others, or sees that others are happy, they themselves live happily and in this way give glory to God. Psalm 33 is a prayer of praise and rejoicing before the Lord… Complete this Psalm “Rejoice, you righteous, in the Lord;” by having a family reading of Psalm 33:1-7. 20-22, on Pages 14-15 of The Family Fully Alive.

Bishop Paprocki has requested that parishes take a special collection this weekend (December 18 & 19) to help provide financial assistance for the recovery efforts of our brothers and sisters in Kentucky. There were terrible tragedies resulting from the tornadoes and the Diocese of Owensboro has been overwhelmed with requests for assistance. All proceeds from this appeal will be sent to Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Owensboro, Kentucky. Bishop Paprocki asks for our continued prayers for all of those impacted by this terrible natural disaster. Donations can also be made online at ccc.dio.org under the Tornado Relief Fund option. You can also donate online through dio.org.
