• Frequency-controlled feed motorsguarantee an exact positioning of thetimber pieces in the hydraulic fingerjoint press in connection with anautomatic length measurement.*

• The integrated saw cuts the timber barinto the rinto the requested outfeed lengths andequested outfeed lengths anda pneumatic or servo-controlled crossfeeding bar conveys the timberinto the press channel. Charging isnow possible simultaneously withpressing. A capacity of 12 presscycles/min. can be achieved. Cut-to-length saws can be installed at theoutfeed area of the press.

• Optionally top and bottom scoringunits are available that make the

cutting of edge fingers withoutany tear-outs possible in connectionwith the Weinig cutter spindle.

• Precise finger joints of higheststability ensured by state-of-the-arttooling.

*Other press models such as fingerjoint assembly presses and continuouspresses can also be used forproducing an endless timber ribbon.

An excellent tool configurationincluding scoring saws from the top andbottom, hoggers and cutters (adjustablewithin a 1/100 mm range) is the basis oftheproductionofprecisefingerjointprofiles.Thescoringsawsaresynchroni-zed to prevent tear out. The indirect driveof the maintenance-free WEINIG built toolspindles ensures high capacity reservesand vibration-free processing of shorttimber pieces. This ensures precise jointquality, splinter-free from thefingerbasetofingerpointandanabsolutelytightfingerjoint.

FlankenJet glue application systemThe glue application system developed byWEINIG GRECON provides for an exactlyproportionedandspecificglueapplicationallthewaydowntothefingerbase,evenwithcriticalprofiles.Thegluefilmisdistributed on the entire surface of thejoints; nevertheless glue savings arerealized. Almost all commercially availableglues can be used, e. g. two-componentglues.
