Saturday Breakfast Run 7:00am Saturday November 12 This run is in planning, with breakfast near the Jaguar Concours. At St. Phillip’s Plaza. Watch for more information by email from Kim.
Cowboy Cookout 6:00pm Saturday November 12 Last year's visit to the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch was a great hit, so we're doing it again. For those who missed it (>55 people attended), the ranch serves a cowboy style buffet on Saturday nights at 6:00 PM. As TBCR did last years, the club will subsidize part of the cost for MEMBERS. The final cost to MEMEBERS is $20.00 per person and it's a fabulous deal! If you are not a member and wish to attend that is fine. However, just show up and pay the restaurant for your meal. To take advantage of TBCR's offer, we need to RECEIVE your check (made out to TBCR) on or before Tuesday, Nov. 8. We cannot extend this date, as we have to give them a fixed number that evening. So, come and enjoy the fun, cars and cowboy food. You might not have to eat on Sunday, if you're hungry! Mail your check out to TBCR with $20.00 per person to:

Hot Dog Run 11:30am/12:45pm Saturday November 26 Saturday morning/lunch - Annual Sonoran Hot Dog Run - time for those great Sonoran hot dogs at our favorite cart on Alvernon Way. Tradition has us starting a 1 1/4 hour drive starting at Mission San Xavier. Hot dogs and drinks provided by TBCR and time to pay your dues and elect officers at the lunch. Fun for all and none of that leftover turkey in sight. The drive leaves promptly at 11:30am from Mission San Xavier. 12:45pm lunch at the Hot Dog Cart on the corner of Alvernon and Lee. Plenty of room for parking and admiring the cars.
Holiday Luncheon 1:00pm Sunday December 11 Another annual tradition. This year’s party will be 1:00pm at Colt’s Taste of Texas 8310 N Thornydale. Greg has organized another great menu which you can see in detail on page 6. To reserve for this event we need to RECEIVE your check by December 7. Now here’s the tricky part: write your ENTRÉE CHOICE on the check and make the check out to TBCR. $20.00 per person. Mail your check to:

On the Road Saturday Breakfast Run A run part-way up Mt Lemmon followed by breakfast on the patio at The Eclectic Cafe. Traffic ahead on the highway kept the pace a little slow at times, but everyone enjoyed the ride and breakfast was great. Thanks Kim for organizing.

TBCR Picnic Gorgeous weather was on hand for the picnic at Agua Caliente. We had a very nice turnout, with Kelly and Greg preparing the main course and Gelato capping the afternoon. TBCR at its best! \

1969 S2 two seater coupe. Primrose yellow. Very reliable and used for occasional long distance trips. Matching numbers with Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Present owner for 8 years. Clean Arizona title. Well maintained and in regular use in the dry Arizona winter. Not used in the wet summer. No rust. Soft storage cover. Always garaged. Some stone chips and some other small paint imperfections. New carpets. Seats in good condition. Console leather not perfect. All instruments work including clock. All panel switches work except hazard lights. Original radio works. All 5 wire wheels perfect with knock-off wheel nuts. Plenty of tread on tires. Rear end changed to 2.88 ratio giving comfortable cruising at 2,500 rpm at 75 mph. Recent new clutch. Standby SU fuel pump fitted. Stainless exhaust. Triple SU carbs. Oil pressure 60 psi. No work required to enjoy driving this wonderful machine. Not 100 point concours but a good honest example and a sheer joy to drive. 86,500 miles.
