The truth is out there – the CIA is offering a peek into its ‘X-files,’ shining a spotlight on a series of once-classified UFO documents.

The CIA declassified hundreds of documents in 1978 detailing the Agency’s investigations into Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). The documents date primarily from the late 1940s and 1950s.To help navigate the vast amount of data contained in our FOIA UFO collection, we’ve decided to highlight a few documents both

skeptics and believers will find interesting. Below you will find five documents we think X-Files character Agent Fox Mulder would love

to use to try and persuade others of the existence of extraterrestrial activity. We also pulled five documents we think his skeptical partner, Agent Dana Scully, could use to prove there

is a scientific explanation for UFO sightings. The truth is out there; click on the links to find it.

71 years ago the month, the was the liberation of Auschwitz, were 1.1 million Jews were murdered, as were gypsies, gays, some Christians and spies. As you can see, that rogue nation state called Iran has a leader who still disputes proven history. What is even more crazy, the history books have been proven wrong as new evidence continues to surface that Hitler did not die of a self inflicted gun shot in a bunker. What?

“We will never know the truth,” says Shalev. “But there is enough evidence to build an alternative theory

about what happened to Hitler.”

“No one believed the Russians’ story of Hitler’s suicide in the bunker,” Weschler adds. “As early as the

summer of 1945, there were headlines asking, ‘Where is Hitler?’ all over the world.”

Recently declassified FBI documents formed the basis of the new documentary, reports Mediaite. Both

Shalev and Weschler didn’t buy British intelligence officer and historian Hugh Trevor-Roper’s investigation

into Hitler’s death, believing it to be “unprofessional.”

“In those days, the FBI, not the CIA, was responsible for South America,” says Weschler. “And in

declassified documents, we see that the FBI took very seriously the possibility that Hitler fled to Argentina.”

The FBI even opened an investigation into the theory, lending it some credence. Pulling from the

investigation, both Shalev and Weschler believe that one can reasonably conclude that Hitler died in

Argentina in 1965.

“The Eden Hotel in La Falda, Cordoba [in Argentina] was owned by Ida and Walter Eichhorn, who were

close friends of Hitler,” Weschler explains. “Hitler sent them a Mercedes Benz as a gift. It was the first Benz

in Argentina.”

The silver bullet in the documentary revolves around DNA testing of Hitler’s skull fragments performed in

2009.

“They showed that they couldn’t have been Hitler’s skull because they were from a woman under 40,”

Weschler says. “The more you look into it, the less credible the official version becomes, and the more

plausible an alternative theory seems.”

What do you think? Could Adolf Hitler have died in Argentina in 1965?

Turn Off to Tune InOne of the hardest things for most people is temporarily ignoring emails, instant messages, social media, and other digital communications while we work on projects and assignments throughout the day. It isn’t that we all have attention deficit disorder; we’re trying to be responsive and communicative, which are prized attributes of any co-worker, partner, vendor, or boss. This “always-on” communication style, however, can be detrimental to the quality of our work. If there’s one thing smart intelligence analysts don’t want to do, it’s lose sight of the potential threats to our strategic assets because of trivial distractions.Allotting dedicated research time allows threat analysts to focus on the task at hand without becoming distracted by external chatter. Sure, some chatter might be relevant to a project scope, but for the most part, emails can wait and social media posts will still be there at the end of the day. If an emergency arises, that antiquated technology called “the telephone” can be an alternate form of communication.Smart threat intelligence analysts are in the habit of setting boundaries and letting co-workers know there will be certain times throughout the day that they will focus on threat research without distraction: Open,

read, and respond to email, internal chat (instant messages,

Skype, water cooler talk), and social media no more than twice a day.

Getting to Know YouTechnology is a fantastic tool and enabler, and cyber threats leverage technology for malicious purposes. The problem, however, is human behavior, not code. The adversaries behind the tools and techniques are the ones writing the malware that infects corporate systems and steals the data. Someone has to program the bots, and it’s only through the understanding of human behavior and what motivates specific types of people that a threat analyst will be effective. Sharp threat analysts take time to understand the person or

people perpetrating cyber crimes. Make it a habit to continually ask:•Who is an adversary?•What are some common traits?•What motivates them?•What are their TTPs?•Who is a temporary threat actor, and are the TTPs they use dramatically different?•Why?The psychology behind threat actor motivations is not an easy task, and threat analysts can’t be expected to also be psychologists. However, learning to identify certain types of characteristics and habits of threat actors will help threat analysts follow a more logical path. Learn about adversary motivations and TTPs — and always keep learning — and you’ll be one step closer to identifying the threats launched against your company.

A year after fierce opposition disrupted a contentious plan to use American military bases as shelters for illegal immigrants, the Obama administration is quietly working to make it happen and six facilities throughout the nation are currently being considered.

Under the plan the military installations would house droves of under-aged illegal immigrants, officially known as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), who have entered the country from Central America in the last two years. Most have come from El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras and they’re being relocated to states across the nation to make room for more in the overwhelmed Mexican border region. Judicial Watch has covered the crisis extensively and in 2014 reported that a hangar at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas was being covertly used as an illegal alien processing center for UACs. At the time the administration was under fire for using three military installations— Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Ventura County Naval Base in southern California and Ft. Still Army Base in Oklahoma—to process the barrage of illegal immigrant youths that had crossed into the U.S. through Mexico.

Now the administration has revived its controversial idea to house UACs in active military facilities. The Pentagon quietly notified lawmakers from the jurisdictions where the bases are located during the holidays when things are slow and many take vacation. One of them is Alabama Congresswoman Martha Roby, who like many of her colleagues is outraged. Roby has made the Department of Defense (DOD) notice, delivered via electronic mail, public. It’s signed by Matthew Rhoades, a legislative affairs policy chief to the Secretary of Defense, and says that six DOD facilities were being assessed this month for use “as a temporary shelter for unaccompanied children.” The installations on the short list are Maxwell Air Force Base in Congresswoman Roby’s Alabama district, Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida, Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota, Naval Support Activity in Pennsylvania, Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts and Travis Air Force Base in California. The Pentagon notice says that the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is “expanding its capacity to provide shelter for the current influx of Unaccompanied Children at the U.S. Southern Border.” An increase in shelter capacity is a prudent step to ensure ORR meets its “statutory responsibility” to provide the illegal immigrant youths with shelter, the document states. Besides the military bases, HHS is also activating two federal facilities in the next few months to house UACs. The first is an 800-bed facility that will open in Homestead, Florida in February and the other is a 1,000-bed facility in Lakewood, Colorado that will begin taking UACs in April.

Roby has vowed to fight the plan to bring detained illegal alien minors to Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base as she did a year ago when the administration first considered it as a UAC shelter. “This is a terrible idea,” the congresswoman writes in a Montgomery newspaper piece published this week. “Our active military installations have very important jobs to do,” Roby writes. “At Maxwell-Gunter, that includes things like training, education and cyber activities, many times in classified settings that are very sensitive. There’s no question in my mind that forcing our base to house and secure hundreds of illegal minors would negatively impact the mission. We cannot allow that to happen.”

Hezbollah Members Use

Latin Passports to Travel

Venezuela- Reports issued by Western security and intelligence sources have stated that a number of people belonging to Iranian groups and the Lebanese

Hezbollah, with suspected links to terrorism, are moving freely in the United States and Latin America using Latin passports like the Venezuelan and Ecuadoran

ones.

According to these reports, the intelligence services in Canada and Bulgaria have recently spotted the movements of citizens of Arab origin, especially those

belonging to Hezbollah as well as Iranian agents carrying original Venezuelan passports in order to move within a number of countries, especially United States,

Canada, and South America.

The former Venezuelan Minister of Interior, Anthony Dakin, currently in the United States, indicated that Venezuela has become a hub for granting passports for

Iranian groups and members of Hezbollah, in order to facilitate their travel.

Antony Dakin told the media that Caracas has contracted with Cuban companies to issue mechanized and biometric passports. The information Dakin leaked

reveals the volume of trade carried out by a small country like Cuba to transfer the technique of producing mechanized passports in Latin America. He added that

Havana has signed contracts with other countries, such as Argentina and Ecuador, which provides it with data of around 80 million citizens. These contracts allow

Havana to issue identification papers without forgery and by using other people’s data.

Furthermore, Dakin cast his doubts to the media that people from Iran and other countries, have been using Venezuelan passports for more than 10 years now.

Zika virus to spread to all but 2 countries in the Americas, WHO predicts

The World Health Organization anticipates that the Zika virus will spread to all but two countries in South, Central and North America. The mosquito-borne disease has raged in South America and other regions for several months.Twenty-one countries and territories of the Americas have reported cases of the virus since Brazil reported the first cases of local transmission in May 2015. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urged pregnant women to postpone travel to Bolivia, Brazil, Cape Verde, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Saint Martin, Suriname, Samoa, Venezuela and Puerto Rico. The CDC also recommended that women who have recently traveled to these places during their pregnancy be screened and monitored for the virus. That's because the virus has been linked to an uptick in babies born with a neurological condition called microcephaly, which can cause abnormally small heads and serious, sometimes deadly, developmental delays. The WHO attributed the virus' rapid spread to the fact that people in the Americas lack immunity because they haven't been exposed to it before.

A Hawaii newborn born with microcephaly, an unusually small head, had been infected with the Zika virus. The case could be the first one reported in the United States linking the birth defect with the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that the baby recently born in Oahu was infected in the past.

A Los Angeles County girl who had traveled to El Salvador late last year was infected with the mosquito-borne Zika virus, health officials confirmed. LA County health officials said Tuesday that the adolescent girl contracted the disease when she traveled to El Salvador in late November, but she has since recovered. There have been at least 22 cases of the illness affecting travelers returning to the US, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In a July 14, 2015, speech at the NAACP National Convention, President Barack Obama announced that he had asked Attorney General Loretta Lynch to conduct a review of

“the overuse of solitary confinement across American prisons.”After extensive study, we have concluded that there are occasions when correctional officials have no choice but to segregate inmates from the general population, typically when it is the only way to ensure the safety of inmates, staff, and the public. But as a matter of policy, we believe strongly this practice should be used rarely, applied fairly, and subjected to reasonable constraints. This Report includes a series of “Guiding Principles” that we believe should guide plans for limiting the use of restrictive housing across the American criminal justice system, as well as specific policy changes that the Federal Bureau of Prisons (the Bureau) and other Department components could undertake to implement these principles.

The stakes are high. Life in restrictive housing has been well-documented by inmates, advocates, and correctional officials. In some systems, the conditions can be severe; the social isolation, extreme. At its worst, and when applied without regard to basic standards of decency, restrictive housing can cause serious, long-lasting harm. It is the responsibility of all governments to ensure that this practice is used only as necessary—and never as a default solution. But just as we must consider the impact on inmates, so too must we consider the impact on correctional staff. These public servants work hard, often for long hours and under difficult conditions, and we must protect them from unreasonable danger. For years, the Bureau has been asked to do more and more, putting strain on its officers and other staff. Correctional officers need effective tools to manage the most challenging inmates and protect the most vulnerable.

We do not believe that the humane treatment of inmates and the safety of correctional staff are mutually exclusive; indeed, neither is possible without the other. In recent years, numerous correctional systems have succeeded in safely lowering the number of inmates in restrictive housing, including the Federal Bureau of Prisons, which has reduced its total restrictive housing population by nearly 25% since January 2012. Under the leadership of its outgoing Director, Charles E. Samuels, Jr., the Bureau has also developed a range of progressive alternatives to restrictive housing—and has done so while supporting and enhancing staff safety. This Report includes a number of proposals that would help continue the downward trends in the Bureau’s restrictive housing population, while also ensuring that those placed in segregation receive the support and rehabilitative services they need.

Eid Greetings

Featuring a design that evokes centuries of tradition, this stamp commemorates the two most important festivals—or eids—in the Islamic calendar: Eid al-Fitr and

Eid al-Adha. The gold-colored calligraphy on the Forever stamp was created by world-renowned calligrapher Mohamed Zakaria of Arlington, VA.

The script reads Eidukum mumbarak, “May your Eid be bountiful (or blessed).

As he has with all previous Eid stamps, Zakariya employed traditional methods to instruments to create the design. He used homemade black ink, and his pens

were crafted from seasoned reeds from the Near East and Japanese Bamboo from Hawaii. The paper was specially prepared with a coating of starch and three

coats of alum and egg-white varnish, then burnished with an agate stone and aged for more than a year. The black-and-white designed was then colorized by

computer. Ethel Kessler was the art director.

From the U.S. Postal Service

With the new year, the post office has just released a new set of stamps. One particular design isn’t like anything you’ve probably ever seen. It actually bears Islamic calligraphy in honor of the two most significant Muslim festivals – Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.As it turns out, the calligraphy, by Mohamed Zakaria of Arlington, Virginia, actually says Eidukum mumbarak, or “May your Eid be bountiful (or blessed).” The Daily Caller further explains:Eid al-Adha occurs in the autumn and honors Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son on God’s command. As part of the holiday, Muslims who can afford it are expected to sacrifice their best domestic animal (cow, goat, camel, sheep, etc., depending on the region).

Furthermore, Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan –the month long fast where Muslims are forbidden to eat during daylight hours. In order to mark the end of Ramadan, Islamists celebrate with a feast.

20 Health Benefits of TurmericBRAIN TUMORSOne of the biggest health benefits of turmeric is in the prevention and treatment of cancer. Research has found that curcumin induces cell death in medulloblastoma, a pediatric brain tumor. Other studies have found that it may induce cell death in glioblastomas, an aggressive type of brain tumor that is resistant to chemo and radiation.PROSTATE CANCEROne study found that turmeric, when combined with cruciferous vegetables, may prevent prostate cancer and stop or slow the growth of existing prostate cancer. SKIN CANCERA study found that curcumin caused melanoma cells to commit suicide. Topical curcumin has shown promise in fighting squamous cell carcinoma.LEUKEMIACurcumin was found to have an inhibitory effect on WT1 gene expression in childhood leukemia cells. A study on Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) at the University of Palermo in Italy found that mice treated with curcumin developed smaller tumors than the control group.

CHEMOTHERAPY ENHANCERResearchers at UCLA found that curcumin enhances the effects of cisplatin, a chemotherapy used in the treatment of many different cancers. Cisplatin and curcumin together worked better at suppressing tumors than cisplatin alone. In addition, a study published in the Nutrition and Cancer journal found that curcumin not only makes cancer cells more susceptible to chemo but it also protects healthy cells from the toxic effects of chemo.ALZHEIMER’S PREVENTIONOne of the most exciting turmeric benefits is in the realm of brain health. It has long been noted that elderly people in India have low rates of Alzheimer’s disease. One reason may be that they consume a lot of turmeric in their diets. A study found that curcumin may prevent or slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease by removing amyloyd plaque buildup in the brain.EYE HEALTHA study at the UC San Diego found that curcumin may be able to treat some types of retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative group of eye diseases that can lead to blindness. Another study found that it may be helpful in the treatment of macular degeneration.WEIGHT LOSSResearch has found that curcumin may be a powerful tool in the fight against obesity and its related symptoms. Curcumin reduces leptin resistance, lowers insulin resistance, reverses hyperglycemia, reduces inflammation, and activates fat burning gene signals. NATURAL PAINKILLER & ANTI-INFLAMMATORYCurcumin is a natural painkiller and cox-2 inhibitor. One study compared curcumin to ibuprofen for pain relief in knee osteoarthritis patients and found that the curcumin worked just as well as ibuprofen. Several studies have found that curcumin has potent anti-inflammatory properties. According to the Arthritis Foundation, several studies have found turmeric to be effective at reducing joint inflammation and pain, with one of the studies even finding curcumin to be better at reducing pain and swelling in patients withrheumatoid arthritis than diclofenac, an NSAID that is commonly prescribed for people with RA.LIVER HEALTHIs your liver taxed to the limit? One of the health benefits of turmeric that is believed to be a natural liver detoxifier. One studyfound that it may protect against alcohol-induced liver damage as well as damage caused by a high fat diet.PARKINSON’S DISEASECurcumin crosses the blood-brain barrier and is a known neuroprotective agent. Several studies have found that curcumin may be beneficial in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. According to Michigan State University researchers, curcumin can prevent clumping of a protein that leads to Parkinson’s.MULTIPLE SCLEROSISCurcumin has shown promise in slowing the progression of multiple sclerosis. A study at Vanderbilt University found that curcumin prevented the onset of an autoimmune disease in mice that is similiar to MS in humans. In fact, the study authors said that MS is a rare disease in India and China, where turmeric is consumed on a regular basis.PSORIASIS HELPOral curcumin has been shown to be effective against psoriasis. The National Psoriasis Foundation recommends turmeric as a natural remedy for psoriasis.DEPRESSIONAn Indian study found that curcumin may be an effective treatment for people with major depression. The study compared people who were taking Prozac, curcumin, or Prozac and curcumin together. The group who took Prozac and curcumin together had the best results, while those taking either Prozac or curcumin had very similar results indicating that curcumin may work just as well as Prozac.H. PYLORICurcumin has been found to stop the growth of H. pylori (helicobacter pylori), a bacterium that is found in the stomach and other parts of the body. If left untreated, it can lead to stomach ulcers and stomach cancer.BETTER SLEEPCurcumin may protect against the effects of sleep deprivation. A study found that it prevented anxiety, oxidative damage, and other impairment in mice deprived of sleep for 72 hours.

MULTIPLE MYELOMAA French study published in 2014 in Cancer Biology & Therapy found that several different multiple myeloma cell lines were sensitive to curcumin. The study authors concluded that the results indicate more clinical trials are worth doing on curcumin and multiple myeloma. MD Anderson Cancer Research Center at the University of Texas has been studying the effects of curcumin on multiple myeloma for several years. For an interesting anecdotal story of a woman with multiple myeloma who has been keeping her cancer at bay for years using MD Anderson’s curcumin protocol, check out Margaret’s Corner.METASTASIS PREVENTIONMultiple studies have found that one of the most exciting health benefits of turmeric is the prevention of metastasis, the spread of cancer from the primary site to other areas of the body.CACHEXIA PREVENTIONCachexia is one of the biggest hurdles for many cancer patients with solid tumors. It causes weight loss and muscle wasting even when large amounts of food are ingested. A Chinese study found that patients with colorectal cancer who were given oral curcumin while waiting to undergo surgery experienced weight gain. The same study also found that curcumin induced cancer cell death in patients with colorectal cancer.

ANTIBACTERIALSeveral studies have found that curcumin has antibacterial properties and is useful in disinfecting cuts and burns.Turmeric can be taken in powder or capsule form. Capsules are usually sold in 250-500 mg increments.Once you start using turmeric on a regular basis, it’s fun to find new ways to use it in recipes. My favorite way to use it is to add a pinch of it to egg salad. It adds a nice flavor and gives the egg salad a rich yellow hue.Contraindications: Turmeric should not be used by people with gallstones or bile obstruction. Though turmeric is often used by pregnant women, it is important to consult with a doctor before doing so as turmeric can be a uterine stimulant.

So you think Nintendo was just a recent invention of a gaming system right?

1902: Nintendo Goes Global (Games)In 1633, the Japanese government banned playing cards when it cut off relations with the Western world. Japanese gamblers quickly developed a homegrown card game called “hanafuda” that skirted the ban, by using paintings of flowers instead of spades and diamonds. Nintendo was founded in 1889 as one producer of these popular “flower cards.” In 1902, with the ban lifted and Japan open for global trade again, it became the first Japanese company to produce Western-style playing cards. These hit it big and the company soon expanded into other types of games, then electronic toys, and finally the videogames of today. But it was in 1902 when Nintendo first adopted the global outlook that would eventually make it a worldwide household name.

In January 1801, President John Adams faced a troublesome decision. The country needed a

new Chief Justice for the Supreme Court.

Oliver Ellsworth had resigned the position, which, at that time, was not considered terribly

prestigious. The Supreme Court itself was a fairly weak institution at that time. And as justices

had to “ride the circuit,” traveling on horseback to hear cases, serving on the court could be a

grueling and thankless task.

Adams intended to nominate John Jay, who was an old and trusted friend. But Jay, a

distinguished lawyer who had previously held the position, turned Adams down.

And with little more than a month left in his term before president-elect Thomas Jefferson

would take the oath of office in March, Adams found himself in a bind.

John Adams and John Marshall Had a Fateful Meeting

John Marshall, who was serving as secretary of state to Adams, later wrote that he had delivered

Jay's letter refusing the position to Adams, who had recently moved into the unfinished

executive mansion, which would later be known as the White House.

John Marshall was born on the Virginia frontier on September 24, 1755, the son of a land surveyor who had somehow amassed a substantial library of books. As a child Marshall was encouraged to read extensively. As a young man he served as a captain in the Continental Army, and saw action in several battles, including Brandywine and Monmouth. While still serving in the military, he studied law part-time at William and Mary College.

He was admitted to the Virginia bar in 1780, and entered political life a few years later, winning election to the Virginia legislature in 1782.Marshall earned a reputation as a very good lawyer who could think on his feet. And he also became known for arguing forcefully that Virginia should ratify the Constitution. At the 1788 Constitutional Convention in Virginia he defended Article III, which deals with the judiciary. The concept of judicial review was embraced by Marshall, a foreshadowing of his later career on the Supreme Court.

John Marshall quotation:When a law is in its nature a contract, when absolute rights have vested under that contract, a repeal of the law cannot divest those rights. The people can act only by their agents and, within the powers conferred upon them, their acts must be considered as the acts of the people.

With its cold-hammer-forged and spiral-fluted barrel, the LWRCI IC-DI stands out from the crowd. There’s more to it than that, though. The rifle, the company’s first direct-gas-impingement design, proved remarkably accurate. It was fitted with a Nikon M-223 2-8X 40 mm riflescope for evaluation.

As I pulled up to the nondescript, industrial brick and steel complex of buildings, it was obvious that this was a place that manufactured things. There were trucks and cars on the lot, not all new, but well-maintained, evidence of a skilled work force at its machines. But what was different was the number of NRA stickers. The facility could have made any number of things, but I knew that among them were firearms—really good ones. The company I had come to see, LWRCI, is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and before I take too many lumps, understand that I was born in the “Old Line State,” went to school there and lived in the now-incongruously named “Free State” for half my life. But the Eastern Shore and Western Maryland are like two different countries ruled through Annapolis by their more populous neighbors in Montgomery, Princes George’s and Baltimore counties. But the water, watermen, good duck hunting and the schools closed on first day of deer season east of the Chesapeake Bay still remain. And there is manufacturing, and there are good manufacturing jobs. For that, you can thank in no small part Richard Bernstein, the retired founder of BAI Aerosystems, a maker of unmanned aerial vehicles. Despite anti-gun laws and anti-gun governors, Bernstein is committed to his people and keeping them at work, making parts.

The 45th President of the United States will win not just the election, but also…a brand new car!The Department of Homeland security began the process of commissioning a new presidential limousine in 2013, and now a camouflaged prototype of the next generation machine has been spied for the first time.Although the current vehicle is designed to look like a Cadillac sedan, it is understood to be a heavily armored machine built on a medium duty diesel-powered truck chassis, but its detailed specifications remain a national secret. Nevertheless, President Obama told Jerry Seinfeld that it’s “a Caddy, basically on a tank frame.” Its nickname is “The Beast.”

The U.S Secret Service reportedly maintains a fleet of 12 identical limousines that are used in Washington, D.C., and transported around the world to support the President’s activities. The specific cost for each vehicle is undisclosed, but has been estimated to be $1-$1.5 million. So far, the total paid to GM for work on the 2017 model is $15,800,765.It new car will likely make its public debut on Inauguration Day, January 20th, but don’t expect to pick up one of the used ones at CarMax. Traditionally, retired Presidential State Cars, as they are officially known, are redeployed for use by other government officials, and one example often ends up at the library of the president associated with it.

Here's how a small Texas firm is bringing back the DeLorean

A small Texas-based firm will restart production of the infamous DeLorean DMC-12 — of "Back to the Future" fame — early next year, producing a modernized version of the

1980s vintage car.James Espey, VP of DMC Texas, said they plan to produce

about 300 cars for four years. The new DeLorean, the first produced since 1983, will contain

many of the creature comforts expected in modern cars. Which means no more cassette player.

They will also be "considerably more powerful" due to a yet-to-be named engine sourced from an American manufacturer.

The original DeLorean had a notoriously unimpressive 130 horsepower powerplant, even when aided by

an aftermarket flux capacitor.DMC Texas, which has so far been dedicated to keeping the

approximately 6,500 remaining DeLoreans on the road by supplying spare parts and restoration work, will take

advantage of the newly-passed "Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act" that exempts small manufacturers of

vintage cars from the same standards faced by large automakers.

Many more details here.
