Ministries & Programs Drop by the Info Depot to pick up brochures highlighting all programs.
Adult Ministries: We really value adult ministries here at
Peace. During the Sunday School Hour on Sunday mornings, we offer a number of classes for adults. There are also multiple Bible Studies and Growth Groups that meet throughout the week. Note: Watch your bulletin for information regarding special events like our annual Marriage Retreat, camping
weekend, senior citizen outings, etc.
***
Student Ministries: Peace Church is known for a strong, active, God-centered student ministry. Our desire is for
students to glorify God by knowing and treasuring Christ above all else. Youth Groups meet Sunday nights for a time of games,
snacks, hanging out, and learning biblical truth.
Senior High and Junior High — Sundays, 5:30-7:30PM (Senior High also has a Bible Study that meets Wednesday
nights at 6:30PM.) 5th and 6th Grade — Sundays, 6:00-7:00PM
Peace Young Adult Ministries meet Thursday nights at 7PM.
They have large-group discussions, Bible Studies, and many fun events throughout the year.
***
Children’s Ministries: Our flagship children’s program is Caraway Street — a live-action drama that teaches kids basic Bible knowledge ad teaches them how much God loves them. It meets Sunday nights from 6-7PM for kids ages 5-4th Grade.
GEMS/Cadets: On Wednesdays at 6:15, we host programs where kids can make friends, learn skills, make crafts, and learn more about God. Girls are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month; boys on the 2nd and 4th.
Join us June 24-28, for Vacation Bible School — a week-long summer adventure in learning about Jesus. This year, kids
going into 1st-6th Grade are invited to be princes, princesses, and knights in God's Kingdom. We'll play awesome games,
travel back in time to meet King David, and most importantly, learn to "stand strong" for God.
Announcements Want to learn more about the Gospel? At the Info Depot, we have two booklets that present the Gospel in a clear way. Pick up Two Ways To Live, (for adults) or Who Will Be King (for
kids). Feel free to take them home!
Baptism Requests: If you would like to request baptism for your child, please sign up in the foyer to attend the April 15th
Elder Meeting.
Revelation Series: The first segment of our Sunday evening “Studies in the Word: Revelation” is now available on CD or
DVD. Pick up an envelope at the Info Depot to order your copy.
Love to Golf? The men’s league is looking for two more golfers (as well as a few substitutes). Play starts on May 9 at 5:30PM at Yankee Springs Golf course and will continue every Thursday
through the end of August. Contact Don Postma at [email protected] with questions or to get involved.
Church Co-ed Softball: We are looking for more players,
especially women, to fill open spots on (what will hopefully be) our third softball team. Sign up in the foyer by
TODAY. Practices begin in April; games will start at the end of May and go through August. Any questions, contact Coach Pete
Colburn at (616)868-2204.

Translators.
You are welcome to recycle paper and cardboard up at the Paper Gator, scrap
metal up in the bin by the dumpsters, and batteries in the foyer.
The Lost and Found is located under the coat rack to the right of the Caraway Theater.
Children & Students
There will be no Kidz Worship during Spring Break (Easter or April 7) for children first
through fourth grade.
Land the Plane! Children and Youth Sunday School classes are fundraising to support the missions team going to Kenya this summer. There is a papier-mâché airplane that can be filled with donations. When it gets heavy
enough, it will “land,” just like our missionaries will in Kenya.
Caraway Street: There is no Caraway tonight due to Easter, but make sure to join us next
week for “Night at the Beach!”
What is the heart of the Christian religion? The death and resurrection of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. What will you do with the empty tomb?
Monday – John 18 • Tuesday – John 19
Wednesday – John 20 • Thursday – John 21 • Friday/Saturday – 1 Corinthians 15
In 1 Corinthians 15, what does Paul say is the case if the resurrection is a lie? What does Paul say is true, since the resurrection is real?
Daily Prayer: Father, Jesus died for the sins of his people. Then he was raised from the dead, and he now reigns in glory. What an amazing reality! I know that by faith and repentance I may also be
raised with him. Thank you for your incredible grace! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
