» DAY 1 ROMEArrival at the Rome Airport and private transfer to your Hotel in Rome. Balance of the day at leisure to discover the Eternal City Optional sightseeing tours available.

» DAY 2 ROMEMorning at leisure, optional sightseeing tours available. In the afternoon you will reach Piazza San Pietro in Vincoli (**) to join the Art & History in the heart of Ancient Rome Elite Walking Tour (small group). The itinerary starts with a visit of the Roman Catholic titular church and the minor basilica of Saint Peter in Chains, best known for being the home of the world famous Statue of Moses by Michelangelo. Crossing the Imperial Avenue we will see the Trajan Column, a Roman column which commemorates Roman emperor Trajan's victories. We continue to Piazza del Campidoglio, followed by Piazza Venezia with the imposing “Vittoriano”, a monument built to honour Victor Emanuel, the first king of a united Italy. Finally we will then arrive at the Church of St. Maria in Cosmedin to see the Bocca della Verita'. Then you can experience a breathtaking 360° view of Rome from the Terrazza delle Quadrighe, a spectacular terrace located on top of the monument of the Unknown Soldier in Piazza Venezia. This is an open voucher and therefore you may use it when you please during the stay. But we strongly suggest to go there in the late afternoon or early evening in order to admire an unforget-table view at sunset.

» DAY 3 ROME - NAPLES - POMPEII - ROMEPickup at your hotel (pick up available only at centrally located hotels) and departure to the south of Italy for a full day tour to Naples & Pompei. A journey to discover art, history, folklore and archaeology in one of the most typical regions of southern Italy. After a short walking tour in Naples you will proceed to the South and you will arrive to the enchanting Pompei.

After lunch (included) you will visit the excavations on foot with a local guide on an archaeological journey through the ancient city.In approx. 2 hours you will see some of what has been discovered in more than 1,700 years since Pompeii was covered by ashes during the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79 AD. Through the remains and ruins of this ancient city, we can picture the everyday life of the Imperial Age. After visit in Pompei back by bus to Rome (arrival in late evening)

» DAY 4 ROMEIn the morning meeting at New Gartour Vatican Office (in Viale dei Bastioni di Michelangelo, 21 – 100 metres far from main entrance of Vatican Museums) to join our Vatican Museums and St. Peters Basilica Elite Walking Tour (small group and skip the line entrance tickets included). Famous throughout the world for its art and history, the Vatican Museums are one of the top attractions of the city. Our guide will show you the Pio Clementino Halls Walls and the beauty of the Sistine Chapel, featuring the Creation of Adam and the Last Judgment. You will then proceed to St. Peter's Basilica to admire Michelangelo's creation, La Pieta', the Altar Baldaquin, and the Colonnade in St. Peter's Square. Balance of the day on your own. Optional afternoon / night sightseeing tours available.
